Just picked up Resident Evil Rev and Dishonored! W00T!!!!!
Well, I'm going to bed, even though I know I won't sleep well knowing that all this news is being made. See ya in 6-7 hours.
I don't like the sound of that, in stealth I like to see my character in relation to the enemies. I guess at least on U there will be a realtime map.
If you look at the clock most missions take 20 minutes or less but it seems longer when you are playing. What boss was this? It can't have been a proper boss because most are sectioned into their own levels so you don't normally have to restart from the beginning of a stage.
I'm getting those, eventually. 360 is in dreamcast mode at the moment i.e waiting to pick up the games at lowered prices at some point. On a side note, why does it seem COD prices never drop?
Anyone think Capcom will patch gyro aiming into RE Revelations U? The only reason I think they will do this is because they patched off tv play into MH3 later.
What's going on with the aiming in this game?
IGN:
"Surprisingly, it also suffers when played with an Xbox 360 gamepad, both on the Xbox version and when plugged into the PC version. Where Resident Evils 5 and 6 feel like modern shooters, Revelations' aiming simply doesn’t feel smooth with a gamepad stick. I found my aiming reticle frequently jerking around the screen in a series of overcompensating movements. That's a problem I never had with the 3DS's Circle Pad Pro. Played with the mouse, however, it handles surprisingly well."
Mouse is good now? GAF said it was shitballs? 360 has jerky aiming now?
it wasn't a proper boss, just a sort of end-of-mission boss. It was those three sisters with the mirrors ghosts in the graveyard. Quite easy the second time but they kept jumping me the first time.

That was sorta tough yeah. You have to know when to release and not be dragged into damage.
When does your U arrive?
I do not agree. Sports I believe is the ultimate form of returning to normalcy this country has. After 9/11 it wasnt until the NFL decided it was ok to play games that the rest of the sports world followed, it was sort of a collective moment where we all realized its ok to get things back to normal. I mean so in terms of entertainment, work obviously goes on.
Sports does this in a way movies or TV can never do.
Quick question before Durango. If it weren't for Deep Down, would have you have been impressed with the next gen level of tech as shown by the other games on PS4?
Yeah, I was trying to vacuum all the way to the 3rd indication when I should have been pressing A as soon as it went to the first. I did it OK the second time. It also helped getting the weaker ones first so as not to have to be dealing with all three at once. I'm loving this game. I'm hardly finding any of the Boos though. Is it possible to find them first time around? I'm also mostly getting one star ratings and not finding all the gems
My U should have already been here. I hope to have it by the end of the week or early next week. I ordered Mario as well. I know it's not the best Mario Bros but I think I'll probably be wanting to play it when I get my hands on the U. Though that and Lego will likely be my only two games until the new ones (like Pikmin 3 etc) start being released.

Not really
I may be past the point of being impressed by new tech. It's probably an age thing.

The Killzone camera pan was awesome but I would want to see it in freeform gameplay. Drive Club has better lighting and AA than most console racers IMO but PC already does that. What about the Infamous footage it was weird, too fast to get a handle on the screens don't know yet. In fact why the hell is Kojima doing MGSV on PS3 and 360 when new consoles are almost out? I already know the a$$wer but you would think he would do it on next gen.
I thought it was good but I was wondering what expectations were? With Wii U I know the specs so I know what to expect, nothing massive (15-20%-ish better) but are people expecting to be absolutely blown away by next gen visuals? I think there will be, as there always has been a difference depending on the scale of the game. Some games set in smaller environments are going to look AMAZING - no doubt but what about open world? Watchdogs is perplexing to me, it wasn't at first but then Ubisoft said it was made with next gen as the lead sku then ported down, but whenever I look at screens it looks worse than I would expect. Still Deep Down looks pretty amazing.
Anyhow I guess we will see more in 40 minutes.
13 MINUTES TILL IT STARTS WHERE IS EVERYONE!!!
This Xbox reveal is very under-whelming game-wise.
So they are blocking used? All games have to be installed? So what good is that when your hard drive craps out like mine did?
MEGA(FUCK)TON: THERE'S A FEE TO INSTALL ONE GAME TO MORE THAN ONE PROFILE ON ONE XBOX ONE SYSTEM ! ! !
Now, more than ever before, I feel what I said last year is even more relevant: Xbox is moving away from games to be more of an entertainment box. There's going to be less games, less console exclusives... What will there be to look forward to: Zelda, Mario, Metroid.
I couldn't give ONE SHIT about anything on ONE so far. Sony doesn't have me sold yet. As all of these announcements are made, I find myself MORE excited for Link to the Past 2, Mario Galaxy U and even just a hint about a New Metroid game.
Wii U will remain important.
