After a line of six consecutive Castlevania games on Nintendo handhelds (3 on GBA 3 on DS) all of which I enjoyed immensely, comes the first one I will most likely skip. The name Lords of Shadow was a big warning sign for me and now reviews don't seem that positive. Not that having glowing reviews made LoS less of a trainwreck.

Can someone put the "bad sales" of Dead Space 3 in context for me? I haven't bought it yet so I may be part of the problem, but then again I only bought DS, DS2 and DSE after price drops so I wasn't what part of what made those games successful either.

I just picked it up along with a nice purple 3DS! I'll post some impressions on the main board when I get some time with the game.
I LOVED Lords Of Shadow man, it is one of my favorite games this generation, look forward to this one too. Reviews be damned!
I can't wait until Thief I love every other game in the series. I have been waiting for Thief 4 since atleast 2010 after I played Thief Deadly Shadows for the first time.

LOL....why is it every time new consoles come out the PC is teh doomed? If anything, I think the PC is in BETTER shape with new hardware...it means it gets pushed harder. Plus with services like Steam these days and high priced consoles, I don't see any danger.

Really? I think it looks very good and better then what this gen of consoles can offer. I also think pics won't do justice to what next gen can offer, seeing the games in motion will truly show off the power especially in the finer details, particle effects, draw distances, environmental interaction, etc.
Deep Down looks sick in screens.You should pick up a copy of Thief 3 Deadly Shadows, either on Steam or on the Xbox 1.
It still looks really good even today, was one of the better looking Xbox games. Basically plays like a medievil Splinter Cell/Hitman, but you're a Thief who gets paid to break into places and steal shit. Its awesome. Really awesome story and atmosphere too...and deadly shadows has one of the scariest levels I have ever played in ANY game in it. I had chills playing it...most actual HORROR games don't do that to me.
This is how it is with PC games too...you need to SEE it running with all the crazy detail and effects. Honestly, most of the recent releases like Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider and Crysis 3 look like PS4 games already on the PC. I started FC3 the other night and it looks INSANE.
Thief, I mean, I can see a difference just looking at the pics...its not a HUGE difference, but its there. The detail on the textures in the environment and the main character, when you see that in motion its going to be very impressive.
Oh yeah definitely but I don't all games will immediately jump out so easily just by pics alone.
