So.... amazon uk shipped some Wii U deluxes without Nintendoland and are sending out download codes for the game. Mine came with the disc, others have to download it.
So amazon emailed me a download code anyway and I don't know what to do with it? Can I sell it? Can I give it away? What if it's tracked back to me or something? Should I just delete the email and ignore it?
BTW Zombi U get.
Is that IGA? That banner wouldn't lie

Nintendoland single player cheating! Well at least this thing doesnt have leaderboards cause that other wiimote helping would have ruined them.
You know what the funny thing. Let me preface this by telling you that I am being 100% honest when I say the following:
When I posted the story with the subtitle: Iga strikes again - I hadn't even seen or spotted the IGA banner in that pic. I just saw the Pokemon backpack and was having a joke. Then like 20 minutes after I posted the pic I saw IGA on the banner.
Why can't they do the opposite and have single player ways of playing Mario chase etc? I like those games.
Nintendoland, some of the games feel like, if you tweaked them they could be good games in their own right. Funny how stuff like Luigi's Mansion, Mario Chase, they look like the worst kind of crap you don't want to play, then when you play them it's like a lightbulb pinging in your head and you just GET it immediately.
That Octopus dance.... *shudders*
I'm off to try Zombi U.
Yup those are great fun with others.
Enjoy zombiU.

I thought my U had a red pixel problem like the Wii 1 when it had that red and green dot problem. Turns out that the TV has a lone red pixel, how annoying.
Played an hour of Zombi U. Even that long with the game I'm scratching my head at some of the low reviews. 4.5 out of 10 and scores of that ilk make me expect a horrible broken game. This is nothing like that.
Acually enjoying it quite a lot so far, although it's not all rosy. Like Dvader I temporarily lost my ability to play with an inverted Y axis, I blame Wii U gyro games that have me aiming by just pointing up. I do not think the stick sensitivity is quite right. I turned it all the way to 100% but it still doesn't feel just right. I wish it was smooth like Halo. Does it get better as your character becomes more experienced with guns?
I also hate having to click down on the stick to run, there are enough buttons on the controller that I should be able to use something else. Once again, why don't all games let you button map to your own liking?
Still, unlike Nintendoland this game is a coherent and compelling demonstration of what the U can bring to a hardcore game and I like it. Almost all the features so far are enjoyable and the U pad feels like a tool in your hand (no sex pun intended) which enhances the experience. The game is very atmospheric and the graphics are good. They aren't super impressive but they are in no way bad in any shape or form and look quite good in many parts. The game has been fairly easily for the first 50 minutes or so, I have yet to test out the controls and features against a horde. I have a feeling I will shit my pants, get lost and die easily.
BTW, when you save right, say you die after, can you just load your last save?
Can you mark waypoints on the map guys? Oh and there are messages on the walls from people, nearly of all them people are rating as do not trust.
Oh yeah a relative went to a major supermarket today, they had like 20-30 PS3 games, 20-30 360 games, about 10 3DS games and how many Wii U games?
4
Yep. 4.
And I see a story today about how U games didn't even break the top 10 in the UK? The store only had COD, Mario, Zombi U and Nintendoland on the shelves.
EDIT:
Trine 2 is good stuff, but some of the puzzles drop red herrings. You come up to sections and they will lay pipes or something there. So you start thinking how to use them to get past the obstacle. And you get frustrated because you cannot use those items to get past certain bits. And instead you find a completely different way to get past those sections not even involving those items. It's mildy annoying sometimes.
Ignore the messages by people, it is totally useless. No loading previous saves, if you die you start with a new chars yet and the wave is overridden. You can quit right before you die to get to your last save.
They're not red herrings if they form a way to get past the puzzle, which they do from what I remember. None of the puzzles can be solved only one way.
Wow she really does look like her too, that's pretty cool.
The pipes are particularly bad. They give you pipe pieces, you arrange them for airflow for 20 minutes, then find they are completely useless and you can just build a block tower or stand on a bubble and push it with a block. The flap down bridges are particularly bad. Still a good game though.
Played more Zombi U in the dark. Like it a lot, very atmopsheric. Found something slightly annoying, I was player 1, got killed, went to nab my backpack during a horde invasion as player 2 died, came back as player 3 and could only loot player 2s stuff not player 1 where all the good shit was.
I need some nails and have none. When the game throws a horde at you everything goes tits up and panic sets in. You really cannot dig into your backpack when there is a horde about there is no time, you have to have everything prepped before in quiet moments and really be on your game when the horde shows up.
Game has not scared me yet, but does feel very tense. There was this part where I wanted to get into the sewers but had two zombies bearing down on me. I knew I had to fight them off or I could not get to the sewers, so I shoved them back out of the room then slammed the door in their face. I ran to the manhole, accessed it and breathed a sigh of relief when the map came up. Only..... the game was still happening on the main screen and I as I was scrolling the map to click the safe house - I looked up - the zombies bust through the door and lurch towards my characters' back as fast as possible. I just clicked it when they were like a foot away from killing me. So intense.
BTW what's with Zombi U's graphics looking better on the U pad screen? Seems they blurred the HDTV pic, then when you use the U pad screen everything is clearer and well lit due to the lighting and the shadows look better. It's deliberate and actually very clever of the devs, makes the pad seem very useful.
Now this is a fun way to play NSMB U multiplayer. Random kid touch screen block placing.

By the way, don't bother trying to add him as a friend - he appears to have blown his 100 person limit already, unsurprisingly.
