My dismay came at that you'd start either game and not finish them (not that that one was finished over the other).
Nintendo is so backwards with online.
Sleeping Dogs is 10 hours?! I'll wait till its $10. $1 per hour.
Sound Shapes gets better but its still not this indie darling everyone is making out to be. It can join Journey in the more artistic than good category (though I say its better than Journey).
My scheduled office for tomorrow canceled. Now I get to have the day off and enjoy Darksiders 2 and Gamescom!
Maybe Nintendo is pricing their items based on value instead of cost? More likely they are being nice to retailers. It would also be a way to dampen demand while they are new to this form of transaction.
This is what I was thinking too.
"Dampen demand"? Sounds like a euphimism. Why would they want to do that?
But then again it's Nintendo we're talking about. They're not about making sense
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Dust: An Elysian Tail is getting some great reviews! The game they are likening it to the most is Tomba! for the PSOne... not the first game that comes to mind when watching it in action... it looks like it plays almost identically to Muramasa, actually. It's strange, the reviewers may be 100% correct, and I wouldn't even know. I played Tomba, loved Tomba, finished Tomba... but if you ask me to describe it as anything other than "a pink haired dude jumping on pigs" I'd be at a loss! I DO remember it was great fun though!
This is new to them, they may want a slow start to see how their systems handle it. Even the most experienced companies in this field can get overwhelmed by demand.
I think retailer relations is the most likely reason though.
Just one small reason why The Witcher 2 effin' RULES:
Wow. Just. Frickin. WOW!
Just got to the third act of The Witcher 2, Iorveth path. All sorts of Lord of the Rings epic crap going on. Geralt and Iorveth make the best duo since Snake and Otacon. Twist after twist after twist in the story. I actually got to see someone's EYES gouged out with a frickin SPOON! ONE. OF. THE. BEST. GAMES. I'VE. PLAYED. THIS. GENERATION!
I HAVE TO play the other paths now to see how they compare. I CANNOT imagine them being as good as the one I am currently on!
Never played with lorveth, I did kill him though, I think. No spoon either.
YOU KILLED THE NOBLE ELF, IORVETH?! YOU BASTARD!
**Come to think of it, I kinda just abondoned his girlfriend to save my own, so he's prolly gonna be pissed at me now too...**
You sided with Douche... I mean Roche... Ewww...!
He was a traitor and had to be killed. Roche maybe a dickhead but he is a good dickhead.
I really need to go to sleep, but I am fighting off the temptation to play some more... I NEED TO GET UP EARLY...
Geralt of Rivia is friend to non-humans! Not some pawn of the Politcal Regime!!
BAD VADER!! BAD, BAD VADER ! ! !
Darksiders 2 tomorrow!!!!
Geralt has always been a friend and loyal servant to the King of where ever that guy was from, he needs to find the killers.
BAH! Geralt faced death and conquered him before!
**Yay! Darksiders! ...and I remember when I had to convince you spuds to PLAY the original! Ploughin' Rookies!**
AND I got to witness Lesbomancy first-hand!
HA-HA!
