Played a bit of
Dragon Age 2
Picked it up dirt cheap, but regardless of price I am honestly starting to feel the game got a lot of unjustified hate, even from me without having played it before. It definitely is a step back compared to DA, but to be frank it still feels like a solid game. Nothing outstanding like the first one, but also nothing like the pile of shit the internet would have you believe.
Skyrim
Once again. Bit over the 50 hour mark, got back to it thanks to Leo's amazing time with it. Started slashing down my beefy sidequest log, and will try to raise my smithing/enchanting to 100 before moving on with the main story.
Penumbra: Overture
I'm fucking scared.
I played some of this:
I played that in close proximity to the Scott Pilgrim game. Ugh. Scott Pilgrim seemed like crap. Or maybe it just was.
Scott Pilgrim most assuredly sucked.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile^ You have been playing a ton of that. Safe to assume you like it?
Crysis is done. Great game, but I think Halo 3's campaign was better. Huge potential in this game though but never used to its fullest.
Any higher res image of that? Could make for a killer wallpaper.
I'd be posting news if there were any folks. Deadest few days of news I've seen for a long time.
I've been enduring Kingdom Hearts. I hate this broken game. I spent SO MUCH TIME in Traverse Town. It's one of those old, old school RPG's where you have to talk to everyone immediately after you talk to anyone in order for the game to trigger to the next step. So you can go anywhere in Traverse town (or inside any individual level) out of sequence without any hint from the game that you should not be there yet.
So I'm FAQing the whole faqing thing at this point. 14 hours in. I am so over-leveled it's not even funny.
I got Beat the Beat Rhythm Paradise.
Pretty sweet game.
I prefer the touch screen in the DS game though, contrary to what you think it is more accurate than a button and it actually felt like you were tapping a drum or strumming a guitar.
It seems a bit harder than the DS game, with some of the timing being quite difficult in some spots. I think it might a problem with my TV more than the game. I have the Wii hooked up to an SDTV for a better picture than an HDTV but the sound on this is not good enough for Rhythm Heaven. The bass is non-existent and it's not crisp enough to hear the cues properly.
The tune are cool and there are a couple of great mini-games so far. But it needs to step up a notch. I am only up to remix 2 out of 8? So there is lots more potential to come.
I think if I hooked this up to a decent sound system I would be enjoying it A LOT more with these kicking tunes, but this TV doesn't even have a headphone jack port.
Started up Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier last night.
I like it a lot so far, I'm a few levels into it and it definitely has the same structure as the Advanced Warfighter games. The difficulty is a bit more forgiving than the GRAW games..it feels like you have a bit more room for error in this one, but you'll still die pretty easily if you get shot a few times in a row. The checkpoints are pretty fair though, so you don't have to replay too much when you DO die. You still sneak around with a group of Ghosts, and try to take down enemies before they see you, using cover whenever you can just like GRAW. This game definitely has more of a cinematic flair to it, the cutscenes and the pace of the game are much more movielike than the GRAW games. Similar to the cutscenes in Halo Reach.
Graphically, it looks great but doesn't blow you away like GRAW did in 2006. Seems like its built on the same engine, so its very solid but not jaw dropping at this point, even on the PC. Sound is as great as its always been in Ghost Recon. And I'm glad the PC game is the same as the console games this time, unlike last time you Ubisoft made a 1st-person shooter out of GRAW on the PC.
I noticed this game has a average rating in the 7.7 range...which I don't agree with at all. The campaign is great stuff, and the multi-player is fun as hell just like it was in GRAW...this is easily a 8.5ish game.
Also still playing Diablo 3...amazing how fun a game can be when you're basically just walking around and hammering on the left mouse button the entire time.
4 hours of RE cutscenes, lolol.
This weekend is the Zelda concertin orlando and I so happen to work in Orlando this week, sounds good except I am going to have to go back down to return a rental car and pick some friends to bring up to Orlando this weekend. So tomorrow after work here in south florida I drive up to Orlando, I work wednesday, go to zepherhills (small town nearby orlando) on thursday and drive back to Miami that night. On friday I drive back up to Orlando for the weekend. Thats a lot of damn driving, oh well.
I wont be playing much this week which sucks cause I have fallen in love with Sonic Generations again.
And I just checked the Zelda concert website, they just added west palm beach and Miami to the list for December. Mother F...

Wow I was totally wrong about this one. That is incredible.
That is insane.
