Would it be more bearable for someone with practically no HM previous experience?
Yes. I think never playing one before is actually beneficial if you're playing this game. They changed a few core techniques in this game. Nothing major, but just enough to confuse long time players who came into this game unaware and hadn't played its prdecessor Tree of Tranqulity that used the same engine. Go for it I say.
Oh and just ignore the game's motion controls. Utterly useless.
Sweet thanks. CC supported?
I don't know. probably not.
About a month after doing this I notice myself and Mrs Aspro are in the picture.
Pretty crazy, eh?
Looks like I missed one hell of a party here. I was out at the bar for a friend's birthday. Got shitfaced for the first time since my accident and I think it will be another 2 years at least before I put booze in my mouth again. At least I had sense enough to walk there and back this time.
I have a massive massive ... massive hangover

Not this time. She was gassy.
.....But it blows Fable away though.
Wouldn't it be better for him to just get a copy of A Wonderful Life though?
Wonderful Life is a good game, but I don't know why he'd be better off. AWL is a very well designed game, but it's extremely slow, even moreso than most Harvest Moons and I think a lot of gamers go stir crazy from it. Its very long too so you can't go into it expecting to finish it. Plus, because ithas the god awful GBA Connectivity you actually can't get full access to all the game's features. Given the choice between the two I'd take Animal Parade.
Jesus Christ!!!! Has there ever been a creepier picture of Donkey Kong? He looks like a fat monkey pedophile.

K-Mart is selling Zelda Skyward Sword for $20 this week. It took 4-5 years for Twilight Princess to drop to that price; Skyward Sword . . . six months.
That's the first and last Harvest Moon game I played. I bought it thinking it would be similar to Animal Crossing. It wasn't.

$30 gift card included with purchase.
Or $12 off with no tax and free shipping! Gift card means you pay full and have to buy something else before you see real benifit.
True, but I buy 99% of my games from either Best Buy or Amazon, and there's always something else I want to buy from those stores.
Wow. That is so cheap.
Skyward Sword bomba.
It sold 3 million worldwide or so, disappointment seeing how TP sold way more.
Again I need to clarify Witcher 2 is not Fable, I was saying it has more in common with a game structure like Fable than TES. I finished act 1 and did some really cool boss battles and some great missions. There is a nice mix of situations to keep things fresh. The storytelling aspect is top notch and I love how your choices have no "good or evil" choices, they are just choices and they have major impact on the game. Its a really cool game with a bunch of little things that piss me off that add up.
Above all I hate how you get locked into a major battle, sometimes a boss battle, with little warning and then you cant access your potions. This game is very different in that you use your potions before a battle, no healing during a fight. So why are the biggest battlles surprises where you cant setup, wtf is that?! Oh and then the checkpoints in some of those section, wtf. And a bunch of little things like it being hard for your cursor to highlight certain objects in the game world. Vague quest objectives. I played dice with some monk for over an HOUR cause he claimed to have some relic and he wouldnt give it to me, I then learned he only works in the PC game where he gives you a website to check out, wtf, why is he still in this version. Oh and no quick travel.
Other than that the game is pretty awesome.
