Oh that comment wasn't designed to make anyone feel good.
Don't listen to him Raven!! His penis is engorged and he's not getting enough blood flow to the brain!
What is that?
Raven vs Archie
Which one is Raven?
I still want to get it for DS but it's so expensive, especially when another version is so much cheaper.
They didn't quote a price, but I suspect it will be around the $5 level.
Nyxquest is like 4 but they had the one day dollar promotion. Maybe they do the same. Either way the DS version should match the price, why are we paying more? Cause we are used to it?
Yeah they will likely do the same at some point, but it will depend on the sales. Ever since I bought my tablet I now watch all the digital market places and monitor them for good pricing. Safe to say that within 3 months the first discount will come.
Nintendo sadly doesn't understand the concept of the digital marketplace. It's fine to charge a premium price for a game once it's released, but after a year or so you need to at least occasionally put it on sale or lower the price permanently, otherwise there's always going to be a portion of the audience that will flat out refuse to buy the game. Then again considering how long it takes Nintendo to reduce the price of their console games I suppose that really shouldn't be a surprise. How long did it take them to create a player's choice pricing level for the Wii? 4 years?
Hard Reset, indie FPS PC game.
Gamestop Making Android Tablet For Gamers
This is actually pretty big news in my eyes. The Android tablets have a distinct advantage over the iPad/iOS system in that there's significantly more freedom for developers when Apple isn't looking over their shoulders. That being said, if you look at the game libraries between iOS and Android the difference is staggering. iOS has Android beat hands down, and is always the lead system for developers who want to put a game on a tablet. Most of the time the higher profile games don't even go to Android. Final Fantasy Tactics for instance is still iOS exclusive. If this tablet that Gamestop is worth a damn, this could potentially be a game changer. Crossing my fingers for it anyway.
I can't quite figure out the model just yet. Trading in iOS systems seems like it'll be their way of getting people to trade up from their iPod/iPad to one of Gamespot's tablets. They won't offer iOS systems, so people won't really be able to trade their old iPads for new ones. Best they can do is get a very small amount of cash to use towards a purchase elsewhere. They'll probably offer lots of trade-in incentives for people who make the switch from iOS to their Android system.
At the same time though they're going to get old iOS inventory. I don't really see a lot of people buying old iPads, plus it almost seems counter productive to their Android offering.
