So Sony are launching the virtual reality device. Seems to have killed off the idea of having it with PS4 as it costs twice as much already and if you add on a PS3 the cost goes up even further.

480.00 GBP = 787.66 USD

Sony will launch a 3D-capable head mounted display in Japan this November.




The device crams two 720p OLED screens in front of gamers' eyeballs, capable of both 2D and 3D output.




Sony expects the device to sell for 60,000 yen (£480).




Notably, Sony's press release warns the device should not be used by children under 15 years old, while sudden movements could cause motion sickness.




Aesthetically it's similar to Nintendo's failed Virtual Boy, which never saw release in Europe after its less-than stellar 1995 Japanese launch. Official pictures of Sony's device are below.




Sony Worldwide Studios exec Mick Hocking previously predicted virtual reality gaming would return to popularity - powered by the company's new headset.




"So we have our new HMD - or head-mounted display - which was announced at CES earlier this year, and you can see that we can now get back to where we really wanted to get with virtual reality in the '80s.




"Being in a virtual world where I can see my virtual hands or a virtual gun with all the things we can do in the gaming world is going to be absolutely amazing," he added.

Usually new games are £30 online. They are price gourging IMO. Hope things settle down eventually. I want that CD.

Yup. Category 1, dont worry, its a bad storm flooding is all you have to worry about. Cat 2, will get some damage on outside stuff, your house should be fine. I just got my power back...its been down since 8:45am sunday! Half of southern new england lost power over a fucking TROPICAL STORM! It wasn't even a hurricane when it got here, but yet the media keeps calling it one, like they're trying to make it sound worse than it was. Something fucking fishy is going on with this one....almost like they WANTED it to be bad, but then it wasn't, but then we all lose power and shit as if it was the worst storm ever.

We have gotten major blizzards, hurricanes, and just regular thunderstorms that were worse than this bitch of a storm, but NOTHING happened!

I don't get it.....lost all my food, people are pissed and they want answers. This should not have happened.
