Japanese 3DS sales went from 16,415 units a week to  214,821 units a week because of the price cut.


I said the system was a price cut a few games away from taking off. It looks really shortsighted of some publishers to hold back on game development now. Capcom is going to have RE Revelations ready and where is everyone else with their games? Where is Ninja Gaiden, or Assasin's Creed? Or any of the other games we were told about a year ago?

I got a new 27 inch Samsung monitor the other day to replace my old one which was 22 inch. Man what a difference, it feels like I'm playing on my TV screen now, seeing as you sit so much closer when playing on PC. Fucking sweet.

Played a bit more of Fallout: New Vegas...its starting to get alot better. At first I thought Dvader was fuckin nuts, saying this was better than Fallout 3. The beginning is honestly boring compared to F3, but I'm at the point now where the quirky Vegas humor is mixing with the gameplay, and also coming across some crazy characters and awesome weapons. Definitely into it now.

I really want to play Dues Ex 3 next week but I can't start anything else until this is done....my backlog is insane. So many of my games I have to play are 30 plus hour games, its tough to make progress. I don't know why people claim games are getting shorter. First-person Shooters are, sure, but not really anything else.

Hopefully moving to Wii 2 or another home console.

They turned the landscape from hot to cold, and turned Sheva and likely all the enemies from black to white. Goodbye racism claims.

Really though, it doesn't look very inspired so far.

I don't think MS needs to follow suit. In North America they've been the market leader all year long. Even at a $200 I don't see the PS3 threatening that. The 360 is the "cool" console and nothing Sony can do is going to challenge that.

Ninja Gaiden 3 is the home console one, Razor's Edge is the Wii U adaptation of 3, NG 3DS is at an early stage. Assasins' Creed Revelations incorperated the Assasins Creed 3DS storyline, it ate it - essentially so it was cancelled as early as a couple of months after 2010's E3.

And GG a  game event is happening in your town, open to the public and you are not going.   you can go, and tell us about so many awesome new games we can't play yet.

I'm not travelling halfway across the city just to stand about and play games I couldn't possibly get into, before some sweaty bloke gives me the evil eye and I have to stop playing.
