MH spinoff is upgraded/expanded version of existing spinoff (never did come). Like MH2 got MH2G (that did come, Unite). SoR remake has existed for years, no C&D yet. Just hit the news cos this was the "final" version except it isn't because they're already fixing a few remaining bugs and reducing difficulty and such for another. Not really a remake, more like a remix considering the majority of the content is ripped from the official stuff. It basically includes all 3 games content as different story paths + new levels and enemies + choosing what game's mechanics to mix and match, and lots of extra stuff, it's really cool for sure. I tend to dislike fangames that use ripped content but this has clear love, the way they've adapted it all, redone some, etc.

The British Board Of Film Classification has given Sega's Rise Of Nightmares an 18-rated certificate - making it the first adults-only Kinect release.


Sega's horror title contains 45 minutes of cut-scenes, according to the BBFC.


Meanwhile, in the US the ESRB has given the game an 'm' for Mature rating. It reports:


"This is a horror-adventure game in which players assume the role of an American tourist who must rescue his wife from a deranged scientist. From a first-person perspective, players use brass knuckles, knives, hatchets, and chainsaws to kill zombie-like creatures and disfigured monsters inside a mansion environment. This is fucking stupid. Why not just say it's a 2 Gb demo? I just downloaded a 1.5 Gb demo for Borderlands (which sucked). A 2 Gb one is not going to freak me out unless the bulk of the download is fucking hidden from public view and only shows up when you're trying to boot the fucking game up. Okay this is pretty cool, finally a press release that actually says something about the next Harvest Moon game - The Tale of Two Towns:

Konohana and Bluebell villages were once the friendliest of neighbors. Then a huge dispute erupted between them... over food! Both towns were certain that their cooking was the best in the world. This feud has transformed these happy neighbors into bitter rivals.

Sounds promising. It uses the same engine that Grand Bazaar used, which could be a good thing. Grand Bazaar could have been a great game, but there was a real lack of interesting characters in the game, and it had a really small map so you quickly saw the entire game map really quickly.
