Absolute joke of a reserve $30,000 USD. This is probably fetishism on the part of the seller (he's not serious about selling, just wants the attention and risk of someone actually buying it).

Just around the time of the Playstation 2 launch, there was a guy that walked into one of the local EB's I frequented. He was trading in EVERY PSOne game ever made. He had shopping bag after shopping bag after shopping bag. The guys there panicked, but then realized just what it was they were getting. The guy had SEALED copies of mostly everything. Dragon Ball GT. Ogre Battle. Tactics Ogre. Most of the RPGs were untouched and pristine. A good handfull of the action titles were opened, but at least 80% of everything was sealed. I got to pick out a ton of great games. I'm sure there were games the guy didn't even get credit for. EB's POS system back then was pretty sophisticated, but it was never meant to process HUNDREDS of titles at once; after a while the receipt printer even ran out of memory and started to print gibberish instead of what was actually being traded. I don't even know how much the guy got --BUT-- c'mon: If you're going to collect, COLLECT don't buy EVERYTHING then unload it the moment something else comes out! The guy probably LOST a downpayment on a HOUSE on what he lost between what he paid for the games then got back in a trade. Nuts!
One of three things going on there:
1. Stolen. Happens quite a bit.
2. Purge cycle of a compulsive collector.
3. Legitimate need for liquid assets (though he'd have to be a complete idiot to unload them at a trade-in).
No. This guy actually HAD the guys there save one of EACH and EVERY game they recieved new for him. He legitimately bought each and every game. Compulsive collector definitely. I understand his wife had a good job, money and a father that owned some kind of company. Her father gave HIM a job. I am pretty sure it was the wife getting tired of his massive collection, and possibly the threat of divorce and/or threats from the father to do something to provide more for his daughter... or some kind of massive debt that lead to the purge. I am friends with someone that is still in contact with the wife. I am pretty sure they divorced years ago now.
You are damned lucky to have Mrs. Aspro share your interests. I can't imagine marrying someone who feels otherwise. Not that I'd choose games over a spouse/partner but they have to know what they are getting themselves into LOOONG before any vows are exchanged!
Well, with Mrs 'spro before I met her I had, like 8 games (and she had none though we both had been gamers all our lives). So it's been a joint thing. Gaming is something we enjoy equally, and the games we have are not really a collection, but more of a library.
That free beyond good and evil soundtrack is legit. I just DL'd it. 30 tracks + cover art. Not sure I dig the music, but it'll come in use somewhere.
So you built a life AND a game collection together... DAWWW!

Sorry your recovery from your concussion is so slow, it must be so frustrating ... but it will be fully worth it in the end when you've recovered fully and you are your old self again so don't try to rush it. Underground journeys are exhausting at the best of times, so don't fret about that. Enjoy Dragon Age 2.

It's also from Suda-51 so the "missing one" would probably love it too.

i am disappointed that shadows of the damned so is actiony but with horror games dead this gen i guess thats what i get
