Oh and in other news last night I busted into the overall top 1,000 rankings for Pac-Man CE
X. 866 last I checked. Going to keep pushing until I'm in the top 500.
Not quite worth posting it as news, but today only Amazon is offering Epic Mickey for $30. Not sure if there is anyone here who wants it and still doesn't have it, but other sites are already promoting it, so supplies are likely to make it past the afternoon.
Versus XIII looks good enough to be XV. I might get Agito, er, Type 0, when it's cheaper for my PSP. The rest, I don't really care about. I disliked the original Dissidia demo, although I guess the sequel could be a cheap purchase also eventually, it looks pretty meaty content wise. Also, hate them for not showing Dragon Quest X yet...

FFXIII-2, it better be similar and not some weird girl power game. WHERE THE HELL IS VERSUS
Wait there is a new FFXIII versus trailer, come on news guys. I will post it.
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
That FFXIII Versus trailer is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!
That is the FF game I have been dreaming of, that is the game XIII should have been. It has everything, the open world, real time combat and loads of epicness. I want it now! NOW!
Eh, it's the first vid in my post? I thought it was another one the way you said it...

I look at the news first, I saw nothing so I didn't realize there was a square event.
I have no idea what's going on in that trailer, but I wants to play that game.
I played a bit of the Risen Steam demo, and didn't like it too much. Combat seems to be crap, VA is as exciting as having a man and a woman read out loud a microwave manual, and I got stuck because I don't know how to use my pan to fry meat. I want to see if during daytime things improve, but so far I'd only get this game at under $2.50

Cars falling from the sky! Behemoths invading Japan! Random bipedal mech battles! Tank riding in a beautiful green field! FUUUUUUU!
So the new Kingdom Hearts is a Sonic game, sweet.
Agito looks better now that I re-watched the vids. And it's gonna ship on 2 UMDs (goodbye hobo price ;_; bah). Totally getting it once it seems affordable enough. Too much VIII vibe from Versus' cut scenes and style for my liking. I liked the (too) few Monster Hunter-inspired moments in the combat, but Agito looks at least as good/fun. Replace Agito with Type 0. Bleh. Hopefully they'll come up with better names for the Western releases.

Eurogamer reveals why sometimes the PS# takes so long to install -- fuller HDDs:
"Either Digital Foundry's PlayStation 3 debugging station is in desperate need of a new hard drive or else Mass Effect 2 can take anything up to 52 minutes to install for a relatively paltry 4272MB of data, not including the additional downloaded DLC.
Taken aback somewhat by this record-breaking install time, we decided to investigate and found that the more spare storage available on our drive, the faster the install time. To begin with, an additional 5GB of space was freed up on the 60GB drive and the Mass Effect 2 install was removed, then installed again.
The result was intriguing: the installation time fell to just a few seconds short of 38 minutes, a mammoth 14 minute saving. Freeing up a further 2GB of space on the drive and repeating the process again brought us to 32 minutes - around the same as the "rather unscientific 30 minutes" reported yesterday by TheSixthAxis."
