You are kind of an VGpress celebrity Archie. Check out my Too Human blog and the podcast.
I wouldn't mind a sequel if they adjusted certain things. And the combat, like Van Ord pointed out, there is a part of the combat wher eyou can get into a groove. My ultimate gripe with this game, other than the death animation, was that this really could have been on teh level of Dark Alliance with just some minor tweaks.
And what about the ending? After the boss battle you back track, fly back to the base and then walk to watch two cut-scenes?
Funny story, a mate of mine gave me a copy of Orta to play through. Really enjoyed until about the third level, wherein the game crashed! Turns out that on the PAL copy doesn't work on a 360, and the only way around this is to use the level select trick...available after 20 HOURS OF PLAY.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 Special Edition Revaeled
I am officially tired of this crap. Buy the special edition of the game and it comes with 2 two of the DLC characters. I could be wrong, but does that suggest to anyone else that they're already on the disc and therefore they're just unlockable rather than downloadable? Does it look like once again Capcom is pulling the "develop it ahead of time and then release it as DLC later" trick? Bullshit. Of course I'm sure this will mean my favorite characters will be DLC as a result.
Diablo 3 Coming to Consoles
This is an interesting development. Half the reason I've been thinking about getting a new gaming PC was for Diablo 3. If it's coming out for and HD system that reason suddenly becomes significantly less compelling. Must wait for further details.
wow a pretty bad special edition and jill really crapcom do we need 3 characters off the worst RE game ever made and this is why i can tell that tvc is better they only put in 1 character per game.
wow and here i was thinking blizard couldn't make d3 any worse after stripping 50% of the rpg elements from the game but now console versions didn't they ever learn from the past
diablo was also on playstation. it didn't affect the PC version. hopefully it won't happen now either.
do you play TvsC online? quite a few of us here have it. we played online once or twice before. i'm the king of lag but meh i enjoy playing so...

I don't think a console version of Diablo 3 is necessarily a bad thing. Sure the PS1 port was bad, but that was a different time. There were some very good hack and slash games on consoles in recent years, and I think that if Blizzard was handling the console version themselves it would turn out just fine.
What RPG elements did they remove from Diablo 3? Diablo 1 and 2 were hardly RPGs themselves. Just good ole dungeon crawlers. I haven't been following it that closely (although I've preordered it because it was cheap on Amazon UK) but the main difference I've seen is that thankfully potion spam won't be encouraged as much, instead you'll get random health drops from enemies and have much more limited potion use, meaning that boss fights will present a set challenge you will not be able to bypass by packing an inventory full of rejuvenating potions. As for the console version, I don't see how it will be better than the Diablo port, which I didn't think was so bad. They'll still have to give you direct character control in a game designed for point & click with hotkeys gameplay, as consoles don't have the right interface for that (I doubt they'll make a Wii version, or support Move).

different time did blizzard stopped becoming a money grubbing company that doesn't care about players? no never mind of coarse not they did give up on games to focus on a mmo game that to this date take up 80% of there effort to keep it going and"fresh"
@bugsonglass yeah i did play tvc online but before i got it to save money i had to lower the speed of my internet so online haven't been as good as they use to and my wii is weird and it wont let me connect to anyone on my friends list but i can connect to random users
As far as inspiring ambivalent reactions goes, this news is on a par with being offered a million pounds but being told you have to tongue-kiss a silverback gorilla to get it.
Kinect, so far thought a casuals-only party toy/stupidity facilitator by the core gamer, may be getting a Gears of War game. And if the rumours are true, it could be confirmed very soon. Would such a thing improve Kinect, or would it ruin Gears? Click on to the next page, where I will provide details and further thinking points.
In an article published Saturday, The Sun solidified its commitment to blaming games for everything by repackaging an article about rickets in children with a contrived anti-gaming slant. The first article, which ran only one day prior, stated that doctors are seeing a rise in rickets in children due to a vitamin D deficiency...
