Video is over 6 minutes long.
Lots of footage from the BTS videos. Cool, new gameplay in an office and on a construction site.
Ooooh park level footage. Lots of good stuff. Interviews with the produces. Tank level looks great, reminds me of Disaster day of crisis. Snow level has great visuals.
Construction site shows a few frame dips, nothing to worry about though. Jungle level footage too. Everything looks very polished and smooth.
Typing as I watch. Producer wants to make a AAA experience for 2010, says game can't be nostalgia only. Largest ever activision team for a wii game (125 team members IIRC), commitment to the highest production values. Multiplayer, stuff shown, facility brings back memories.
Motion capture footage, man wearing lots of balls etc.
Out on 5th November. So like two weeks?
WTF! Sonic 4 Ep 1 is 1500points which is £14
$22.42 US dollars.
F*** that.
I'll be interested to see if Sega ponies up for a new deal with Platinum. Based on the four games they did for them, only Bayonetta was a real hit. Madworld did okay at around a quarter million sales, though I suspect a large chunk of its sales came after it was deeply discounted. Vanquish hasn't really shown up on any top selling charts (like Amazon or gamestop.com) and looks doomed due to the short game length - a lesson they should have learned since that was one of the main complaints of Madworld. ANd I don't really know about Infinite Space but I don't think that was a big seller either. Only person I ever saw talk about it was Leo.
I'll go ahead and say it now, Final Fantasy XIV is doomed. FFXI started out rough, though not a rough as this, but it still had the novelty of being a Final Fantasy MMORPG that kept people interested while the bugs were worked out. No such novelty this time around to keep XIV afloat for the next 6 months that it'll take to get all the necessary patches in place. When an MMORPG can't build up a decent seized community from the get-go, it's the kiss of death. I question whether they'll even try to launch the PS3 version in March.
I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 and I got to one of the final Sonic levels and there is a part where you get on these colored platforms and you must change the gravity to move around them. They come in all different colors like red, green, purple, yellow, blue.
It reminded me of something...
Mario Galaxy, copying what Sonic did 6 years prior.

Came here to post this. EPIC.
Slowly warming up to this one.
Guys, just back away slowly, you don't want this fight... everyone said your story was cool, everyone blames the engine on Betheseda, just back away...
"Obsidian defends New Vegas engine After reviews criticise it for being outdated"
Infinite Space got much praise from Mrs. Aspro also. From what I saw of it it looks like crack cocaine, but it's very tough.
I doubt SEGA has the vision to re-up with Platinum. I'm not burying Vanquish yet, and Bayonetta did very well. I bought three of the four games so far, and I will get Vanquish, so I wish it would continue, all four of the games have something going for them.
There is a lot of hubris swilling around in these companies, I think they'll be in denial for a while. The shoudl not have shipped the PC version before the PS3 version was ready (or the PC version for that matter). They were probably trying to get it out before Cataclysm. It will proably fail, but I doubt they will pull the plug. Remember this is the company that gave us the PSPgo.
iPhonies rejoice, SEGA's Chu Chu Rocket is finally coming your way.

Frankly even if the game was half-way decent it'd still at serious risk simply because of Cataclysm. I know a lot of WoW players dusting off their accounts in anticipation of that game. I don't know the first thing about it, other than it's going to be a monster. Any fee-based MMORPG launching within a 3 month window of Cataclysm is going to be mauled.
I would expect that game would be much easier to play with the touch screen.
I remember having that on my DC. Man it was frustrating with the DC controller!

Hooray! Now if only the Japanese ad music was available in full somewhere online. That'd make my day.
It's 20 Australian dollars for the PS3 version. I can get a pack with Sonic Adventure, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders and Sonic Mega Collection Plus (all for the PC), for the SAME PRICE. Sure, make the case that three of those games are shit, but at least you get a hell of a lot more.
And it's 13 dollars for the iPhone OS version. FUCK. THAT.
Also doesn't help that the demo doesn't leave a good impression.
True it was. I didn't like the GBA version either. DS would be perfect -- never used an iPhone, I assume it has touch control at least as sensitve as DS, so should be perfect match.
One for Yoda.
