Depends if you got them for Hobo price or not
Endless Ocean 1 and 2? Zack and Wiki? Rabbids Go Home, De Blob, the proper and decent version of Silent Hill Shattered Memories?
The video feed is so poor it looks like a PSP game. Lets hope some kind soul youtubes the HQ video. Going off of eyes on impressions from journalists it looks really good.
This is how we drive in England.
I have Zack.
Rabbids? Puh-leese. Aren't those party games? Or the last one was a platformer?
Endless Ocean? I thought they were first party?
I think I paid full price on all but BoyBlob.
I see no Rune Factory: Frontier mentioned here. Mrs. Aspro would love it.
I have the two DS games. There is a Wii one? Must have come out on my Lost Weekend period.
While you are here, did you see the story I posted a few days ago about Harvest Moon coming to the browser? Marvelous is working on it.
there's also elebits, the 2 trauma centre games, deadly creatures (but don't get it), tatsunoko vs capcom, cursed mountain, bully & okami (if you don't have them on PS2), the boom blox games, overlord, tales of symphonia 2, disaster i guess is good for niche-cred even though it was a nintendo game, fragile dreams just released and there must also be a good few wiiware games but you probably were just asking about boxed games
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
The Wii one is Rune Factory: Frontier and it is by leaps and bounds the best one of the series. I considered it the best game I played last year. It came out in NA last year, but I think the PAL version was only released last week. It's a fantastic game. Most of the same cast as the first one as far as the girls go, but in an entirely new location and a new supporting cast as well.
And I did see your news story about Harvest Moon for the browser. I can only assume Marvelous wanted to get in on Farmville's action since that's like THE biggest game in the world among the casual crowd. Can't say I'm excited about it, but who knows maybe it'll be good.
Yeah (Bugsy) I have most of those, except for Tats and Disaster (I have all the others, or have them on the other consoles).
Still waiting on more Fragile reviews (I canxd my pre-order). I was unsure if Cursed Mt and Disaster had come out in the US. I'll check those out.
Yeah I share your skepticism. It kind of cheapens the franchise IMO.
It does, but at the same time the franchise is really going down the tubes. It pains me to say it, but as much as I tried to like it Animal Parade was complete and utter crap. Marvelous seems confused on what to do with the franchise. By keeping it the same it feels boring, but with the exception of Rune Factory they can't find a way to evolve it into something else that's worth a damn.
The new PSP game, Hero of Leaf Valley is pretty much a remake of Save the Homeland and I'm debating what to do with it. As much as I want it to be good, I just can't get excited about it, and yet I still want to give it a shot more out of obligation. It's rough... I'm letting this series do to me what Sonic did to Vader.
I dont want to play different genres, I want my favorite genres to feel different. If the Wii actually had different action games, or different platformers (and it does, Mario Galaxy) or different action/adventure games then I would be all over it, but its usually the same stuff, and usually worse. I want that feeling a got when I first played RE4, that brand new kind of shooter. Or the first time I played Prime. Or something like MGS where each game feels very different from the last and it always surprises me.
This better come to the PS2.
Don't count on that. Sony must have filled Kojima's pockets to go exclusive on PSP, to try and give the dying Go a bit of air.
Not happening. The PSP Go was stillborn.
I am hoping Sony allows the PS3 to play PSP downloadable games, that would solve everything. You buy one copy and you can use it on your PS3 or PSP. It opens up a giant market for PSP games. The people that want a portable gaming device will still buy a PSP cause you can't take your PS3 on the go, so it won't be infringing on the PSP hardware sales.
Quit being a baby and buy a damn PSP and 360. There are plenty enough good games on the PSP.
He dislikes portables.
I always held the belief that the Go was a trial balloon and not a serious product. Kind of like the DSi XL. It's just the top shelf version of the PSP, and at the same time they wanted to see how far they could push digital distribution before they get too much into developing the PSP2.
(All speculation obviously).
I guess. I can't judge him, until a couple of years ago I avoided handhelds as well (as serious game platforms). But now, I'll never go back. Handhelds are great for when you can't sit in front of your couch.
It's funny. When I gave my daughter a DS Lite, I thought I would go crazy buying all kinds of games for it, but it didn't happen. Just not my thing. I tend to get some eyestrain and headaches easily, and trying to focus on a tiny screen just worsens things.
I like handhelds when they make sense, like the DS. It is different, it offers a very different product than anything else on the market. The PSP is just a PS2 in handheld form, its like the Nomad from back in the day. I don't want a portable PS2, I would much rather play PS2 games ON MY DAMN TV.
