Kinda bored with that summit. What did we get? Monster hunter 3 which we all knew about and a couple of release dates.
*Leo drops his pants and poops on GG's head*
Deservedly so. GG acting all 'meh' about this when Nintendo just opened the floodgates really surprises me. He is the one that is supposed to be excited, and I'm the one who is supposed to be all 'meh' about it.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileOh, so very zen-like.
Kind of agree actually. Feels weird when people are freaking out with joy, and I'm like " well that's nice"
Well, yeah. And like most E3's it will probably be pushing a number of games, maybe even big games that the core don't care about. Personally I'm hoping for something interesting from that sensor device and retro as well.
What's there to be excited about? I wanted suprises. I wanted blow outs for Last Story and Xenoblade and new stuff. The release dates are cool, but really after what Miyamoto said last E3 about delaying SMG2 for NSMB I expected Galaxy 2 a lot sooner. Like now, febuary, not 4 long months away.
Monster Hunter 3, I've been tracking for soooooooooooooooo long, anything at this point is just white noise, because they should just release the damned thing already. I will be interested in seeing the Metroid hands on.
Right now I've just got Endless Ocean 2, I just got Miles Edgeworth, in 10 days I get Shattered Memories, 20 days later I get Red Steel 2 with my first try at motionplus and then 30 days later I get No More Heroes 2.
It's more exciting thinking about the very soon to be released games to me. And now Monster Hunter tri, Metroid Other M and Mario Galaxy 2 by summer? My hype meter is already topped up.
The rumours for this conference were that it was going to have Sonic in SMG2, that it would be better than Nintendos past 2 E3s combined, that Xenoblade and Last Story would get a blowout and that possibly Rogue Squadron 4 would be there. Also, DS2.
Still, I haven't watched the trailer for SMG2 yet so I suppose I will be back grinning in a moment.
E3 will have to have a Retro made game. I will be PISSED if its not there.
Wow back from work, long day, long day.
*reads the comments and learns about the news
Not bad, not bad at all. Nintendo really must have stuff ready for quarter 2010.
Xenoblade? Zelda? Last Story?
There is only one God here and only one robot.
Me too, I really want to learn how to cook. Well not really, but it is useful. But first things first, I need to learn how to cut vegetables without causing a genocide.
I am a engineer and we think always think of people with bad eyesight.
Sure we can build a small crane like this
But it is small and therefore difficult to see. You might walk into it or trip over it.
So just to be safe we make it like this
See?! No way you can miss that
In conclusion size does matter
Don't jump to conclusions. There will be orchestrated music, the question is: Will we get new music or will they just recycle the music from the original?
Because Wii HD is coming!
Just watched the Galaxy 2 trailer. Game will be sweet.
I wonder where they can go from here though? It's like the ultimate representation of 3D mario gameplay.
4D! Mario will transcend time and the boundaries of the TIME SPACE CONTINUUM!!!11
Some really cool stuff shown off at the summit. I'm definitely interested in Monster Hunter Tri and Metroid other M, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a gauranteed purchase for me.
Super
Mario
Multiverse
Capcom is really throwing off the gloves for Monster Hunter Tri and I say good for them. If they can get Americans half as interested in the game as the Japanese are they'll get half a million sales just off of this. And for the long-term they'll build some brand value onto a franchise that most Americans know nothing about.
The demo is really what's selling me on this. That's a series step and they're even catering to the Wii audience that doesn't have their console online. Brilliant. If Nintendo knows what's good for them they will back up Capcom all the way on this. If this game succeeds it may best Nintendo's best chance at really getting more Wii owners online and ultimately that means more money for them with WiiWare and VC.
Hey, that would be neat. Imagine Mario jumping between the Metroid, Zelda universes and his own, with platforming levels tightly designed revolving around the special features of each game franchise.
How about going into the real world and stomping on Kaz's face?
