Corrected.
How does Ask even still look twice at Square-Enix games if he didn't like this one?
In all seriousness, if it wasn't for the few remakes and TWEWY, Squenix would have been dead to me already. It's really DQVI and DQIX and maybe that Final Fantasy Adventure remake that keeps them on my radar.
...and Dragon Quest Monsters 2...
...so... I just realized it's Old-School Square and Enix that keeps me hangin' on with them.
How do they stay in business...?
Oh. Dragon Quest. Nevermind I just answered my own question.
And Japan.
Square-Enix is still a powerhouse there.
And I agree. It's the remakes and DQ games that I only like now. And those games aren't made by SE!
And why did you have to put me in the same discussion with TWEWY again!?

Because it's one of Life's Greatest Mysteries that you'll play games like Glory of Heracles and NOT like TWEWY.
Alright, you win. You got me there!
Still disappointed with TWEWY though. Don't know why, but I just couldn't get into it.

Drew Brees, only 6 feet tall, gots some hops!
He's definitely an athlete!

Electronic Arts has is aiming for the first quarter of 2011 for two of its bigger upcoming releases, pegging Visceral Games' Dead Space 2 and BioWare's next Dragon Age title for release by March 31 of next year.
EA also lists the Dead Space and Dragon Age sequels as bound for handheld platforms in addition to consoles in its quarterly financial update, with "Dragon Age Title TBA" also coming to the PC. Handheld, in EA terms, includes mobile platforms, so don't be surprised if Dead Space shows up on your iPhone at some point in 2011.
Also coming sometime between January 1 and March 31 of 2011 is "Shooter from Epic TBA," the Epic Games/People Can Fly collaboration that might be known as Bulletstorm. It also has a new New For Speed game and "Action Title" planned for the same three month window.
As for this year, EA plans to have Crysis 2 out for PC and consoles sometime between October 1 and December 31, with Realtime Worlds' massively multiplayer cops and crooks game APB hitting sometime between July and September, a little later than we were expecting.

Some awesome stuff there. I'm definitely pumped for Dead Space 2, the first one was fantastic. I loved Dragon Age so I'm naturally all for a sequel. I love me some Epic shooting goodness so I'm certainly interested on seeing what comes out on that front.
Oh yeah and I'm really excited for Crysis 2 seeing as it'll be hitting consoles this time.
In recent video game software market, there is a huge gap between what sells very well and what sells very badly and this is a challenge for the whole industry. Some people criticize that Wii business has been driven only by Nintendo's great hits and there is little benefit for third parties, which in fact is not true, as the situation is similar even on non-Nintendo platforms, when we compare per-title sales figure like this. Adding to these facts, when we actually consider which platform owns more major titles of third parties, that criticism again loses the basis. But once people assume a fact they can hardly pay attention to the contrary bases. So I believe we need to ask foreign software companies for their cooperation by asking them to pay close attention to these facts and by explaining the business opportunities on our platforms, in order to build a cooperative relationship. I must admit we did not make enough effort to solve the bias or misunderstanding between third parties and us. I believe we have to make effort to make them understand that we can build a win-win relationship on Nintendo platforms with their good software titles that hold plenty of opportunities. - Satoru Iwata
Don't remind me of that game. Hey guess what team passed up on Drew Brees when he was a free agent...
What?
Robot Unicorn Attack
Don't want to say it.
But I saw the logo in Endless Ocean 2!
Without him, it'll still be the Ain'ts!
They're saying Brees is the greatest free-agent pick up ever in the NFL!

Dead Space Extraction on PSN and XboxLive for $15?!?!
Nintendo to have big announcement?!?!
Last November, Nintendo says it was able to "employ the use of sophisticated technological forensics" to catch the man, James Burt, who has been convicted of uploading the word's first pirated copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii onto the internet.
Burt - a single man, not a company or group - now must pay the Japanese publisher and platform holder AUD$1.5 million (USD$1.3 million), "to compensate Nintendo for the loss of sales revenue caused by the individual's actions."
Yes, he broke the law. And as a pirate, should be punished. But this is a game that's sold over 10 million copies in just three months.
Nothing like a little disproportionate punishment to maintain that lovable image, eh Nintendo?"
:X
Seems like Bioshock 2 is getting the reviews the first game deserved. More 8/10s and less 10 and 9/10s.
I guess now that the novelty of the location has worn off, people are judging it on its actual design.
