Hmm I'm very curious as to what this Fable III reveal will be that will piss people off. I'm guessing that it may be a Natal only game. That's ok for me if it is because I think Natal will be very cool and I'm really excited about it.
No more dogs?
I think that's gay as fuck if its a Natal game. How exactly do you even play an adventure game without a controller?
Fucking retarded....LMAO
Really, the only way I can see Natal being useful in non dance games is as an added component to work ALONGSIDE a real controller. For example, in a shootout using hand gestures to give commands while using a gamepad to control movement and aiming.
Yeah. Pretty low.

The sky is blue
Still too high
Bah! To all you Natal haters. It will be AWESOME you wait and see.
Did I mention I'm not surprised with the lower scores? I mean, the game is already reported to be linear as a piece of string with no towns, shops, etc.
The score on Metacritic so far aren't great either. Which is sad, pathetic, and odd for a numbered FF game to have such lower scores than usual.
Can't believe this game was almost five years in development.

Whoa indeed at the PSM 3 score of Final Fantasy XIII. That is very low, actually shockingly low. I don't really know much about PSM 3 and how their reviews fit in with the big reviewing sites so I'll wait and see how the other places like Gamespot, IGN, GT, Giant Bomb, and 1up review the game. Those are the sites I mostly prefer for my reviews. Still though I can't imagine that I'll pass up on FFXIII under any scenario.
Yeah Neogaf had users that finished the game that confirmed that it was very linear and it has practically no side missions and minigames. If you want a more open world FF game with side missions and minigames your best bet is Crystal Bearers. Which has gotten mixed reviews.
There, I said it.
Except for Dragon Quest IX and X, but that's Level-5 so that don't count.
I have no expectations for Versus XIII. Knowing Nomura, it'll be even more linear and bizarre than XIII.

I'll tell you what....if FF 13 flops Square is officially DONE as a powerhouse developer. Really, done. I honestly can't see it being better than Lost Odyssey though, either way. LO was the next-gen FF I wanted and I already got it.
It had that Goochie heart and soul all over it, and I just can't see FF 13 topping it.
I honestly don't care, though. Wada, that new president is very arrogant and full of himself. Remember when he said crap like they won't support any individual console so no console can be dominant this gen? Whatever.
Pride comes before a fall, is all I can say.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cyrstal Bearers? Is that the only choice I get?

That Wada guy is a fucking LOON. I remember the first interview I read with that guy, I said to myself wow this guy is crazier than Nintendo's Yamauchi! I knew then and there Square would never be the same.
Also, I think Square went downhill steadily after the FF movie came out. Even on PS2 they were not even close to their PS1 days, though at least they could still make a good FF. Now apparently they can't even do that.
They lost the Xenogears team...then Sakaguchi, then Matsuno...now they themselves are lost. Goodbye Squaresoft.
Square made two very good games recently (The World Ends With You and Rocket Slime), but other than that...
Even so, sales in Japan will carry FF13 and PSM3? I've never even heard of them. They could be just trollin'.
Personally, I won't be getting FF13 for a long as is possible to hold out (long enough for a price drop but before it goes Greatest Hits).
I'd also put the Kingdom Hearts games on the list of good games they've made. Well not all of them. Just KH 1 & 2.
Other than those two games I'm hard pressed to think of a lot of other games that SE has made that I have enjoyed outside of their remakes. Maybe FFT: A2, but even that was just a little better than average.
Didn't they publish those? I know TEWEY was done by Jupiter, but I'm also fairly sure Rocket Slime was outsourced.
So yeah, I'll post impressions on the Sonic demo as soon as I get it.
