Back to normal Leo .You'll have sold them all by the end of next week.
The graphics were beautiful in most of the areas. The monster designs were really unique and well done. You had tons of different branching fighting styles. The Georama system was intact. It had ALL the great components of a typical Level 5 game --BUT-- when you put it all together, it just didn't work, it felt disjointed and it lacked any sort of spark. The magic that was in Dark Cloud 2 and (for some) Rogue Galaxy is gone!
It certainly didn't help that Monster Hunter 3 has been in the back of my mind all the while, while playing it!

People are saying Sega is crazy for putting this out the same day as FFXIII in the states, but I have a gut feeling that IT is going to be the better of the two RPG's!
What is that?! WOW! Well it isnt Sega Sega, its tri-ace which I have never played one of their games. But it looks amazing. Talk about no buzz for a game, shame.
Hope tomorrows game is at least worth watching. But it's just not like the old days. I remember when Shaq first came into the league and how awesome the All-Star game was. There was Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullen, Hakeen Olajuwon, Shaq when he was a dominant force and not that old and slow guy today...some of the greatest players in the history of the NBA playing in the game! It was quite an event, worth recording on the old VCR, and witnessing history. ALL these guys are Hall of Famers! All of them!
But now it's a few Hall of Famers, and a bunch of so-so guys. They're good, but not as good as those guys I mentioned above! Just look at the names from that above list I mentioned with this year's line-up! No comparison!
No wonder the NBA All-Star game is just as bad as the Pro Bowl. And Kobe Bryant isn't even playing because he's hurt!

Just got to that village after the whole train episode.
I love how natural and witty the dialogue gets around there.

Drake walking through the village, spots a yak: "Heh. Moo."
After walking through the village and being prompted to hit the triangle button to play with some kids: "Go on. Kick it back. Kick it... Kick it... Oh... never mind..."
Spots two kids crouching behind a wall, says in a mischievous voice: "I see you two hiding there!" as the kids giggle in response.
Watching his guide trying to throw out a grapple: "There's no way he's going to do that it's imposs... Oh. He did it!"
After his guide says something to him in his language: "Yeah. I STILL don't speak that."

I should have commented, I thought it was hilarious yesterday. Then strangely enough that Seinfeld was the next one waiting for me on DVD when I popped it in last night.
Yeah, many have said this, but there have been a few times where just as I am thinking what he'll say he says it. And that's not because it is predictable, it's just that after a while you feel like you know the character so well.
But that is generally good advice.
Yup it was complete garbage. That was the worse dunk contest in years.
