Yeah it looks fuckin sweet! Looks like a game that will make me spread my PS3's legs.
Remember, the lead level designer from Retro on the first two Metroid games went there to work on GOW2....so this game should be equally mindbending.
I hate to say it, but after reading the GI cover story on this I want this game. I thought I was sick of Halo after 3.
Stopped playing Mercenaries (original). Everything about this game is amazing and so well-polished. But they have that old, "no checkpoints withing long, multi-step tedious missions, so if you fail at the very end you have to go back and re-do the whole bloody thing" flaw. I just could not hang with it, which is a shame given how good it is in every other way.
Started playing SW:TFU on 360. So far so good. Fairly generic looking, silly characters, but again, no-one does sound like LucasArts.
Well if Monster Hunter 3 is an actual good game I'll definitely be picking up that bundle pak. Great deal.
Just a little note for everyone - Tatsunoko vs. Capcom did break into Amazon.com top 25 Video games, consoles and accessories. For those of you worried that there won't be a large online community to play with worry no more. The game looks to be on pace to become a bonofied success. Probably not a million seller, but I'm confident that this game will end up in the half million sales area. Maybe now we'll see some devs realize that good games from recognized IPs will sell on the Wii.
Think of TMNT Smash-Up as Brawl Lite. It's pretty fun but I guess you'd have to be a Ninja Turtle fanboy, like I was when I was a kid. I grew up with it.
The game isn't as deep as Brawl but the environments are pretty good, which makes the game fun. Lot's of things go on in the environment.
I got it for $15 at Best Buy since it was on sale, so it was worth it. I wouldn't get it for $50 though.

i read that the game sold less than 50 thousand in Japan. while i'm not sure what kind of level of success (or lack thereof) that signifies, i hope capcom is not expecting the impossible from the western release (though admittedly they did go to great lengths to make it possible). naturally i hope it sells as well as possible

I hope it sells good here too, but it'll be tough because of the Wii's casual base and half of the roster being characters we never heard of!
Core Wii owners better pick this up or there will be a time of reckoning! Grrrr!
