That is pretty cool, annoys me though that it doesn't look like the authentic models. The sackboy face distorts what they should really look like.
For me I dont like certain genres that much but I can still recognise the inherent quality of a product. You would never find me 5/10-ing a good game just because it wasn't my thing. I think you are the same, you can recognise quality even if it isn't neccessarily your favourite game type.
Shattered memories so far only has one review which was an 8.0. I think most reviews will fall between 7.8 and 8.7.
Just watched the RE5 Gold trailer. LOL at the ending about the crank.

Pretty decent Reflex review from gamespot apart from this:
There's just one other wrinkle in this otherwise excellent package, and that's the occasional aiming hiccups. When you look down the sights of your weapon and are aiming near an enemy, your targeting reticle will snap onto that enemy. This assist is helpful when it works, but sometimes your reticle will jump back to where you were originally aiming or otherwise dislodge from your opponent. Sometimes the problem seems to be the result of frame rate stutters, and other times it happens while things are running smoothly. It's disorienting and possibly fatal, but fortunately it doesn't happen enough to become a full-blown nuisance. Extensive customization options that allow you to find your preferred aiming style go a long way toward mitigating this issue.
Argh! Just turn off aim assist in the options.
I don't see the problem with that paragraph. He talks about how the aim assist doesn't always work the way it should, which is a valid issue, but in his last sentence, he clearly states that "extensive customization options . . . go a long way toward mitigating this issue," which means the same thing as what you wrote.
Mistake 1 was using aiming assist in the first place hamster.
Mistake 2 was not turning it off, as the options dont "mitigate it" they eliminate it altogether if you turn off the aim assist. Which you should be doing with IR controls as fine as this. You dont need crutches with IR to shoot down hordes of enemies. Just skill.
He's a reviewer, thus he is supposed to "review" all of the settings and options. Eliminating the aim assist may make the game much harder for those that are not as skillful with IR controls as you are, GG. I see no mistakes in that paragraph. No offense, but I think you are just looking for stuff to complain about in this case.
No, if a reviewer is having a problem that changing an option in the options menu can fix, he obviously should fix it.
You dont appreciate IR controls as you've said.
Playing this game with aim assist is like putting down the controller in NSMB and letting the super guide play the game.
Honestly, you really should be complaining about why the devs decided to put in such a feature if it's not needed in IR controlled games. Perhaps it's there because Wii has lot of new gamers who need a setting like that? It's clearly not designed for experienced players like yourself, which is why there's an option to turn it off. It's not the reviewers fault that the devs put in a feature that doesn't work; it's his job to say how well it works, which is what he did. Also, my personal viewpoint on IR controls has nothing to do with this conversation.
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWho's gonna butter my popcorn?
EQ is very much alive it seems. There's even a decent number of new players out there. Supposedly there are still around 75K active accounts out there. Probably more in the near future as a new expansion is being released next month and those tend to bring back a lot of old players. A lot of the gameplay has shifted to the new areas though , and many of the old zones are virtual ghost towns. It's actually kind of cool checking them out again, remembering how busy and packed they once were. It's like, half the game has turned into Detroit.
And since you asked, apparently EverQuest Online Adventures for the PS2 is still supported and small development is still going on for it. There's supposed to be around 5K - 8K active accounts still playing the game and that's all that's needed to keep the game profitable.
didn't DJHero get universally good reviews? or are those just not translating into strong sales? meh who cares anymore, no room for more plastic toys in this house (except for adriana)

Just wondering how many COD games you've played? Aim assist is in the dual analogue versions too. It's like a giant WIN button.
It snaps the ADS directly onto the target virtually removing the need to aim at all. You squeeze one trigger button to WIN, then the other to shoot.
Reviewers shouldn't be using it in the dual analogue version but at least there is some semblance of reason for it there, where stick controls cannot keep up with the pace of action the developers are going for. With IR its not needed at all. Also with IR FPS developers usually put the default controls with noobs in mind, they are there for stability and tend to be (vastly) improved by using other settings. Simple as flicking control in Metroid Prime 3 from normal to advanced.
Also your viewpoint on IR vs Dual analogue controls is very important to any discussion on IR controls as anyone who appreciated IR controls would tell you.
I think the gamespot reflex review is pretty good, it's just a case where I wish I could tap him on the shoulder and point him to the right option.
Thanks for the Mush items BTW I sent a couple back to you that I had. I've sent you some halloween items too, if you have them pass them onto bugs or pinky
