Silverlight is Microsoft's attempted answer to Flash.  But I don't know why you're saying you need Silverlight, I can see the images fine, and I can be pretty sure I don't have Silverlight installed on Linux.

I disagree, the motion controls did make the game more fun but the technical shortcomings brought down what could have been a 9.0 game IMO. In fact it was overrated by the US media when it launched.

I would be happy to play a more polished version and I'm not even talking 360 level graphics. If Marvelous really wanted it to sell in the first place they should have polished it like a Capcom game and marketed it decentely. You can see the visual difference between NMH1 and 2.

Even having a freaking stable framerate would have been nice on NMH1. One thing they are probably doing right on the HD version is that its actually not true cel-shading anymore and will attract the action crowd more with the fancy mapping. I can see the Ninja Gaiden-philes going for this now.

They should normal map the characters in the wii version, if Conduit can do it others should too.

Technical shortcomings were not the only problem in NMH. There was the repetitive textures. In the school level, they used the same textures of trophy cases over and over again. Suda is the master is making games cheap and that was one way to do it.

Then there were the pacing problems. The overworld was just too large and there was nothing to do, besides looking for shirts and money in dumpsters (Why has Archie not bought it yet, it's practically made for him). Then there are some levels like the Letz Shake level that is nothing but a large hallways. 

Collecting money can become tedious very fast and some bosses, Henry I am looking at you, are just damage sponges. Then there are the glitches and frame rate problems, but they are not due to the hardware, but shoddy programming. Suda has obviously cut some costs here also. I mean putting money in the ATM machine is done around 20 fps.

Of course if you kill 4 enemies with a single strike and blood is pouring all over the screen, then the slow down is kinda fitting. You know slow motion blood fountains. Oh you don't know, because you have the gimped Euro version.

So as you can see just fixing the framerate will not make it a 9.0 game. There are many things that need to be fixed, and the game is launching in January, am I right? I don't expect much to be fixed. What is shameful that they are announcing it now, just before NMH2 is going to be released. Nice guys, now we have people not buying the sequel because they rather wait for the HD versions. They should have announced it like 2 or 3 months after NMH2 release.

So we have a person that is smart enough to install Homebrew, but yet lacks common sense in all other areas.  How is that possible?
