What a joke, there is video footage of him laying punches into a guy sitting on a chair. So fame is a free pass for criminal activity now. Great going Liverpudlian jury.
i can't tell you how outraged i am at this. that piece of shit scumbag thug. it seems that fame is indeed a free pass to be thug now.
he got away with boxing punching a guy senseless with his scumbag mates at a club the same way he gets away with his two footed tackles on the pitch week in week out. and this is supposedly the best english player who some call to be captain of the national team? dirty dirty scumbag

I wouldn't mind, but the video footage shows him walking up to a guy sitting on a stool, his mate elbows the man in the face and then Gerrard follows up with a flurry of punches.
Then Gerrards says it was self defence? When the video shows the guy just sitting on a stool before anyone lays into him.

The Liverpool jury accepted his explanation.
Gerrard was the only one of seven defendants to be cleared over the incident - five of his friends who were there on the night earlier admitted affray, while another admitted threatening behaviour.
The six are due to be sentenced at a later date.
So convienently the captain of Liverpools football team is acquitted by a Liverpool jury, oh but everyone else there was guilty.
I dont know what Cavia are thinking, but there is SO much downtime in Darkside Chronicles you're going to be twiddling your thumbs alot.

Yeah, I see now. They're totally different. The power bar in Avatar Golf is horizontal, and in Wii Sports Golf it's vertical!
Zelda needs its own Mario Galaxy at this point. With Mario so fresh and now Metroid also getting retooled, I feel if the next Zelda is just more of the same the series is going to start feeling stale for the first time ever.
They need some kind of design that will allow for a shitload of crazy ideas and variety just like Galaxy does, in the next Zelda. Maybe some kind of hub world that has like 20 alternate worlds, all completely different in look and play style from one another?
Kind of Like A Link to The Past taken to the extreme.
Hell yes. I was thinking about how held back Zelda seems now. Everything is so safe, could you imagine a Zelda game that actualy goes all out, that uses all the tech available to it on the wii. You can make upside down worlds, gravity less worlds, how about riding a dragon, how about a device that allows you to pick up objects and manipulate them elebits style. What about a little big world style dungeon for Zelda.
I am officially a Little King Story owner. Therefore I am superior to everyone else. I'm also a little buzzed thanks to Captain Morgan's Private Stock. More importantly I can say that so far it's a pretty good game. Definitely made by the Harvest Moon people. The cows and chickens look the same use the same sound effects.
And on a related note, the game may actually post some decent sales in regards to the niche market. The manager at the Gamespot and I were chatting and they had 13 copies. I picked up the last one. Even with their limited supply that's not bad. If other locations are getting similar results then the game may break into the 100,000 realm.
I got Shatter, only played for like 5 minutes. Pretty cool, its a different take on the whole arkanoid gameplay. In this game you suck or blow the balls.
