Yet they pretty much took nothing from the books and turned them into an action film. Thus Michael Baying it! Not saying they're bad films---I actually liked them, as corny as they can be---but they do go against pretty much everything in the book.
That first gif is just too funny.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileUgh I cannot stand screen tearing Do you find the game punishing at all? I heard that in a few previews.
I think its fake news, but I haven't trawled through Saturdays updates yet.
It's suppossed to be unrelated to Trauma Center (apart from the developer), the name in Japan is The Hospital that takes you through all the procedures of a hospital and its said to be part adventure game. I think Atlus for sake of familiarity gave it the western name of Trauma Team.
What? I've read all the books, including the lost tales, Simarillion, Hobbit and LOTR through twice, at least. They missed a few things and effed up the end of Return of the King (really, the ghosts won the battle? Ugh) but otherwise they were pretty faithful, if condensed. There is no way they could get all the detail of the books in.
Square Enix can contract Cavia to make an action adventure and the best Capcom can do is get an on rails game from them?
Some GAF guy:
"Near as I can tell, this was a result of Nintendo being unsatisfied with the way the game released in Japan (broken) and asking Tecmo to fix it for release in other regions. Release in America and Europe was planned, contingent on the game being fixed, but that never materialized.
Why? From what I have been told, Tecmo wasn't keen on doing it. They thought the game shipped fine, at least as far as controls were concerned, and they were preparing a large workload and a merger at the time. If Nintendo had paid them extra for what they considered extra work, they would have been fine with it. Instead, it all came from the initial budget Nintendo had for development. In other words, no one was going to give Tecmo extra money for work on the localizations, so they weren't going to do it.
I guess it comes down to whether or not Nintendo was okay with shipping the game as it was, which apparently they weren't. This is one of the situations where NCL did have a direct influence over the other companies with regard to localization. They basically said it wasn't going to be released in other countries in the state it was in and considered the Japanese release kind of an embarrassment.
Tecmo, for their part, seems kind of bitter about the whole thing."
Jesus at the Grinder trailer. Turn the filter down damnit. It makes it look all bitty and crap. Frame rate is slightly wiggy with all those on screen characters too. Still a year and half left on development though.
If this is true I have to admit I'm still a little confused. The reviews were pretty good in Japan all the same so I can't imagine that the game isn't that bad. Then again I don't know how Japanese reviewers work in regards to bugs.
Has anyone watched the rabbids gameplay footage?
Looks, insane, literally.
When you go to the rooftop and it shows the open world, it looks pretty impressive.
I watched the Aragorn video. Ugh I dont think anyone wants that art style with that franchise, but apart from that, it actually doesn't look half bad. I guess if you've played Overkill you may have a little faith in the team. The overworld is huge and there seems to be quite a few on screen enemies and all. I think they are using it to pay the bills though.
“I got a email from Intec (a third party gaming accessories inc. ) to work on a wii attachment for the wii remote...when i opened the email i almost started to cry . They want to make a proton gun that a wii remote can go into and play the game with. They are the ones who made the light saber wii attachment the the Force Unleashed game.” - freelance artist
FRONT MISSIONS EVOLVED:
THE SABOTEUR TRAILER
Damn, they changed his face to look like a beaten potato.
All CG but you got to love Nina Simone right?
1. No game is punishing for Archie. His titanium balls tear through difficult games like nothing.
2. I thought I recognized the girl in the middle as the doctor from Trauma center Second Opinion.
3. Yeah, they took many liberties, I believe they were looking for a more dynamic pace. Still, the rendition is as faithful as you can get on film.
Yeah I'm not finding the game punishing at all but I guess that may depend on how easily you take to the swinging mechanics. I'm currently playing it on normal and I'm only a couple hours in so things could change later on.
