Looks like there is a lot of buggy riding in the game. The screens look awfully more complete than the videos.

SPORE Wii DS details
Electronic Arts’ Spore franchise will make its console debut later this year with the release of Spore Hero for Wii and Spore Hero Arena for DS.
Developer Maxis says that the titles are being “built from the ground up” for Nintendo platforms and will "build on the franchise's core tenets of creativity, exploration and adventure."
Featuring battle and puzzle gameplay elements, Spore Hero will be a story-driven action-adventure title set in a “rich and vibrant 3D world.” Players will create their own hero and embark on a quest to save their home world from destruction. The title will have a heavy focus on customisation, with EA promising to deliver an enhanced version of the Spore Creature Creator for Wii.
Spore Creatures for DS will centre on arena-based combat. It will see players create a gladiator creature and guide it across the game’s 3D galaxy fighting opponents, in the process collecting new abilities. The title will feature multiplayer capabilities enabling players to battle with up to three friends locally or play with a friend over Wi-Fi.
"When Maxis first considered bringing Spore to console players, the Nintendo platforms jumped out as a perfect fit," said Lucy Bradshaw, VP and general manager at Maxis.
“Whether it is the stylus-driven action of the Nintendo DS or playful controllers of the Wii, the massive Nintendo audience is the ideal home for Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena. Nintendo fans will love the humour, ability to create their own hero, fun gameplay and immersive storylines we're creating for these two games."

Blood of Bahamut does look good, but I doubt I'll ever touch it. I'm tired of RPGs and other long games on handheld systems. I know the Japanese market is all handheld-centric these days, but if I have to play a game for more than 20 hours I want to do it looking at a large screen television.
That's probably the one real thing the PSP has on the DS that matters to me. Television compatibility. Unfortunately there just aren't many PSP games I want to play.
The other gods are mocking me I tell you.
even a demi-god like me would mock you if they saw you play a psp game (using the psp) on a tv screen. it has the flat out worst controls known to man (or god)
my psp is fat. and i'm so proud of it for having no television compatibility. (not that i ever touch it but still)

Hey I never said it was good, just that I appreciated the feature. Frustrating that Nintendo hasn't tried to come up with a good solution for the DS especially since they've always found a way (i.e. Super Gameboy and GBA Player). I suppose the controls make it tough, but even using the DS as the controller seems like a solution I could live with.
It seems like a very different game, focusing on teamwork to take down massive bosses with ad hoc and possibly online multiplayer.
And it's all on a tiny screen. Fuck it.
