Overlord Dark Legend NOM preview"The game is hugely entertaining and the controls are satisfying without being too confusing"officialnintendomagazine.co.uk gamingeek
Didn't play much last week. A bit of animal crossing. beat the final
boss of super mario RPG which was a doddle after yoda told me to
include peach in my party.
i also tried the demo for Braid on steam but i didn't like it as much as i wanted to
Castlevania 3, I finally finished the annoying falling blocks level. Stupid 3 bosses in a row fight. Now I am in the original Castlevania level, the castle foyer. I faced death and lost to the him, but he does not seem that difficult, so death will die soon.
In other news I had a busy week at the university. I finally got it to work...
I bet no one understands this thing, correct?!
Of course I understand it. You enter the measurement fo force (the amount of anal penetration you want) then you set the estimated amount of time you want to be anally penetrated, then the high pass filter is what sort of thrusting action you want it to emulate, and then the force command is a real time control of the amount of anal penetration (within the previously set force measurement) and you can even manually control it so that you are virtually fingering yourself.
Seriously, I'm not someone who buys PC looking RTS or city building/civilisation building games. But reading the IGN preview and watching the videos especially, I'm almost sold on Anno Dawn of Discovery (Euro name Create a new world).
It has bright, bouncing visuals. It looks addictive, intuitive and really well made. I guess I used to love Theme Park waaaaaay back but not other more complicated games, so this takes me back. Looks really fun. I might get this one eventually.
Oh shoot, Anno Create a new world aka Dawn of Discovery is looking (really) good.
I'm all about this game. I watched all of IGN's videos for it yesterday and I'm shockingly impressed. Looks like a piratey Sim City. ANyway I'm picking this one up likely Day 1, provided the reviews end up being okay. I like my strategy games a little more like this than say a Pikmin or one that's just strictly combat focused.
It's kind of funny really. A few days ago I bought the recent VC release Uncharted Waters: New Horizons game thinking it might be fun. Horrible interface made the game near unplayable, and I've found that I don't have the patience to learn how to play a 16 bit game anymore. So seeing this come along is a great hope that I'll get something similar, but more user friendly and much more fun.
The Anno series is highly respected in the PC circles. It apparently (I haven't played, sadly, any of its titles, Anno 1602, Anno 1503 or Anno 1701) focuses more in the economic aspects of your regular RTS. More focus on non-military issues, so to speak, although eventually you do get to do battle as in any RTS worth its weight in lead and brimstone.
The first two games are regarded as highly complex and demanding, although that seemed to change a bit with 1701, even though it is still on the difficult side of the fence. I assume this one will be even more accesible.
Having liked civilisation on the DS, i accept that strategy lite titles can be a lot of fun if well made, so i'll be keeping an eye on this anno game even though i was convinced i wouldn't be playing another RTS of any kind until starcraft II.

Me too, especially the "building" video. The camera can zoom right in to look at the daily minutia. It looks really good. They even went all out with the voice acting where so many titles dont. Even the chunky icons and the way you drag around the map. Looks great. These aren't the sort of games I'm usually interested in, but like the IGN preview says there is this, almost Nintendo like air about the way its been designed to be accesible and deep.

I've heard of them in passing, mainly through the DS game where the sprites were said to be too small. It's taken a long time, but this seems to be the droids I've been looking for.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're remaking Final Fantasy Legend II????? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtQ85tedIEc&feature=channel_page - the one in the headline is a higher level entry. Judging by the graphics in that video I'll go ahead and assume it's a DS remake. Would have preferred a console remake, but I'll take what I can get.
Really this is incredible. I can't tell you how long I've waited for this to come along. The original was the driving force behind me buying my original Gameboy back in the day (in this case being 1992). Frankly I don't think Square ever made another entry into the SaGa series that was nearly as good as this game. For those of you not in the know the FFL series was actually the start of the SaGa series and just capitalized on the FF name in North America.
Without exagerration I think I played through that game a dozen times. That says a lot for any game, but considering this was an early Gameboy game. . . it's amazing. Has a great story and lots of customization for the characters and team. I can forsee some people not liking the stat building process. This is one of those games where you build your stats battle by battle instead of gaining experience to level up. I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't going to be changed, but I'm half expecting it.
Nice reliability Sony, real nice. For the past 3 days, the friends list/chat have been off-and-on, but now all the servers except one just gave out simultanously.
Well I cancelled the World Ends with You. Play just weren't delivering it, despite it being on order for ages. I ordered Rhythm heaven for £18 from them instead.

i think the world ends with you has sold out and they are probably not pressing anymore any time soon. i think it's about to start getting hard to find now as everybody thought would be the case from the beginning. i hope you get to play it sometime though as it's really worth it.
having said that ... i've been waiting you to get rhythm heaven to help me with the stupid ghost band mini-game i don't get, so that's cool.
For anyone else with an iPhone/iPod Touch, Peggle just came out on the App Store. If it is anywhere near as good as the XBLA version, I may never have to buy another iPhone game again.
Now Playing: King's Bounty, Demon's Souls, BF1943
Now Listening: Karl Blau- Zebra, Atlas Sound- Logos

Oh er, why hasn't anyone watched the COD MW2 video I posted?
Snow battles remind me of Die Hard 2. There is said to be a gameplay reveal later this month.

Still I'm giddy as hell. Dream come true for me.
Did some more updates.
I will post the Feel pics in the thread.
Love the close up view.

Star Wars Clone Wars action game... I'm interested.
I'm gonna have to download the demo on XBL tonight.
Yeah Peggle is a great game and incredibly addictive. I have the XBLA version and enjoy it quite a lot.
I'm finally on the Peggle bandwagon. Great demo.
