Not real sure what to think of that new Kizuna trailer. The original screenshots that I saw made the game look like it hand a pencil filter which I really liked:
I'm not really seeing that in the new images or in that trailer. I hope it wasn't abandoned, but it looks like they went with a more standard style.

I saw it in the trailer, it seems to be more subtle though. They also put on a scratched film effect from the looks of it.

Really looking forward to this game. I've enjoyed the Harvest Moon series since its incarnation on the SNES, and was very impressed with the first Rune Factory on the DS. It's combat controls needed a lot of work, but everything else was very solid. So if they've improved upon the combat then the Wii version can only be a great game. The screen shots already confirm that this is going to be a beautiful game. Just not sure how the hell I'm going to pay for it. . . Already got We Ski & Snowboard and Madworld next week. . . may have to sell one of the kids.
I think that this is where the HM guys put all their effort these days. It looks graphically reminiscent of a Wonderful Life which is my fave HM game. I never played the DS games, always wanted too but there are too many other DS games to pick up.

Rune Factory was a fun game, though I never played the sequel. It was literally a carbon copy of the first from what I heard. But this one will be good, I'm confident of that. It plays exactly like the traditional Harvest Moon as far the as the farming and social aspects goes, so if you're hoping for WL styled gameplay just toss that out the window.

The RE game... or whatever it's going to be... is probably going to be afterthought material. If it's a port of REmake or RE0, to hell with that--I don't see how they could benefit significantly from the Wiimote and I can just use the Wii's backwards compatibility with the GC versions, anyway. If it's a port of REC: VX, they'd better touch it up significantly, RE0/REmake style. If it's a remake of RE2 or RE3, it'd better be just as good as REmake (which I still don't have).
I hope we're not going to be "very happy" about another on-rails game.

Just watched IGN's video review for Resident Evil 5. Fucking A Capcom! Seriously, what have you done with this series? The AAA games suck on consoles this generation IMO.

Street Fighter IV is such a freakin awesome game. I'm just totally loving it. Got all the characters unlocked now. Gouken is pretty cool. Online play has been very good.
