Played a bit of Scarface Wii today and found it to suck more than I remembered, since I couldn't find any objectives. Also Battalion Wars 2 and a bit of Brawl
For Christmas I'll be having 30+ relatives over like every year.

Chariot chase followed by a fucking boss battle? A boss battle with an awkward camera which is a pain in the fucking arse with a keyboard and a mouse? PLEASE NO UBISOFT!
However, a few seconds of "OMGWTFBBQ" followed by "this sucks ass" is probably fine as by that point the "OMGWTFBBQ" has got someone to buy it.

As usual I've been playing lots of Gears of War 2 online, that Seriously 2.0 achievement isn't going to get itself you know. Also picked up the Combustible map pack and love the new maps. Played alot of Horde mode and man is it ever awesome having 4 other players tackle wave after wave of ever increasing Locusts. So far I've made it up to wave 38 and things get pretty intense. Only 12 more waves left to go until I get the achievement for beating Horde mode. It will be mine, oh yes it will be mine. Only 130 points left to go before I 1000/1000 this sucker.
I got Red Alert 3 yesterday as an early gift. Woo hoo! I've been really itching for this game for awhile so I'm can't wait to start playing it.
Oh yeah for the holidays when I'm not spending time with family and friends I'll be playing lots more Gears 2 and playing some other games I'm hoping to get over the holidays. Got RA3 now, just hoping to get Call of Duty World at War next.
I've been spending some time with the Witcher. Admittedly not very much playing it (just wanted to see if it'll run), but more flicking through the instruction manual and installing the game twice. First time the game ran like shit, and all the buttons on the menus were invisible - as was all the text (so I had no idea what I was messing around with in the options menu).
Upon reinstalling, I saw all the text. Runs well enough too.

I think the disk drive in my Wii may be failing. I turned it on last night, and I noticed a much louder-than-usual hum/grinding noise. It only does it when I have a disk in the drive, so it's not the fan. It still works fine, though. I'll have to call Nintendo soon.

Christmas will involve me eating a bunch of good food, opening a few presents, and playing Animal Crossing online with GG and Steel.
