Agreed. I don't like those mutliple page reviews; it just isn't necessary. I prefer a good 5 or 6 paragraph, single page review. I think IGN and other review sites just write the longer ones so that readers will be exposed to more ads.
Oh, and thanks, Iga, for the better Hamtaro pic. I didn't have to crop out his ears in this avatar.
Its on the PSN.
What is sad is that Super Metroid was the last 2D game to REALLY push the 2nd dimension. I mean SOTN was good but all it did was just copy and pasted Super Metroid and made the area seem more "roomish" then "cavish" as well as just improved what had already been done. Speaking of this I've almost beat Wario Shake It! My review will be up soon hopefully.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
No problem, now say something stupid/funny so I can make a new comic

Me! Me! Me!
I actually enjoy longer reviews. I read so few of them that I enjoy when they provide some substance beyond the regular buy it, don't buy it concise approach.
I picked up Link's Crossbow Training for $3 USD at Gamestop this evening. It was used and didn't include the Zapper (didn't want it anyway), but it did come with a manual and a white dvd case. After playing around with it for an hour, I definately got a good deal on it. The game is simple, but fun. There's a lot of modes to play, gold medals to earn and highscores to beat which is right up my alley.
However, there's is no way I'd pay $25 (suggested retail price) for this game. All of the graphics and sounds are stolen right out of Twilight Princess, so I doubt Nintendo put much effort into it at all. It's almost a crime that Nintendo is charging so much for this (should be no more than $10, IMO), but as I learned in business class, "charge the maximum the market will bare." That's what Ninty did with this, and I'm sure that it has made them a ton of easy cash.
Holy Shiiiit.......those tits are amazing. I'd bury my fucking face in between those melons until I passed out.
Reviews are only the beginning of the multi-page issues on the Internet. Ever been to GamesRadar? Every damn article is at least 3 pages (and not content-wise). Separated by "Skip ad" ads. Followed by a pop-up.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThey were so uncomposed they couldn't write much?
Pac-man Halloween Costume
Makes this retro gamer very, very happy.
Perhaps they had a deadline, and only had 5 minutes to write that review. I can't imagine it took them any longer than that.
Yeah, some sites have gone completely overboard with that kind of nonsense. I simply won't go back to them.
Holy Shit Raven - the look of Hamtaro in your avatar works wonders with this image.

FFrame IV review
http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/review-fatal-frame-4
The last of these, the tilting torch, has been written off by some as a misstep: surely pointer control would have been ideal? The aim, so to speak, is not precision but hindrance. What is there to fear in a darkness easily cleft with FPS controls? The sticky drag of the torch – and the identically controlled vertical axis of the camera – is a masterstroke of timing, just enough to have a ghost creep up undetected, but not so stodgy as to seem deliberately stubborn. If any proof is needed that awkward is often better, we look to the later introduction of a ghost-slaying torch that swiftly dispatches spooks on the spot, and any hint of suspense along with them.
"unprecedented horror interaction"
8/10
Want. I'm eagerly expecting this one.
