Bwahahahaha, GG I watched the anime Perfect Blue on the internetz, hahahahaha!
Evil I am, did you see the Perfect Blue too?
I'm not a noob, I can handle some crappy anologue controls!
The waggle in okami is nowhere near as good as it is in Twilight princess. It's never as precise because amaratsu seems stuck in his won animation. There is a big doorway? And a lady in a house? How am I suppossed to know what it looks like? There are a million houses and none of them let me in.
Nope. That's by Satoshi Kon is it?
So cheap
EDGECRUSHER I SENT YOU A COUPLE OF BOOM BLOX LEVELS I MADE. I HAVE MY WI FI OFF AT THE MOMENT BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE THEM BY MONDAY I GUESS.
Where is archangel? Dead rising screen here.
Good to see a brighter pic. Still pixellated and jaggy. Then again it is blown up, you can tell because of the nintendo logo and the LV. 6 being out of proportion and jaggy.
New Bayonetta info from Neogaf
• The names of Bayonetta's guns are Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme.Together, they're known as Scarborough Fair.
• Enemies drop weapons, which Bayonetta can pick up and use for a limited time. One of this is a tuba, wich functions as a bazooka.
• When Bayonetta jumps or double-jumps, gossamer butterfly wings temporarily sprout from her back. When she lands, dozens of tiny butterflies appear at her feet.
• Bayonetta's outfit isn't actually leather despite the stitching you see in the CG art - It's magical hair that covers her entire body, and it's used in her attacks. The most powerful ones render her almost completely nude.
• Similar to how Devil May Cry used red orbs, Bayonetta features angel halos as currency, wich you use to power up your weapons, unlock skills, or buy items.
• When Bayonetta fires her guns, the bullets ricochet off walls, causing additional damage to nearby enemies.
• Bayonetta's most powerful attacks summon a giant, smoky dragon or a giant, smoky stiletto heel out of the sky to stomp on her enemies. But again, it's not smoke that surrounds these summons - It's a hair. So, yes, that dragon is a giant, slithering hair dragon, and that stiletto heel is a giant, sexy hair boot. You have to enter specific button commands in order to summon the hair monster, though, adding an element of skill.
• When one of these powerful summons exits the area, it's punctuated by the appearence of purple sparkles.
• Control comes in the form of a shoot button, a punch butto, and a kick button. But you can purchase others, stronger combinations.
• Bayonetta uses "Witch Time" - Bayonetta's sense become especially accute, and the environment (and enemies) around her slows down.
• Sometimes, an onscreens button prompt appears during combats, wich means it's time to mash buttons in order to inflict extra damage on an enemy.Tapping the button fast enough results in over-the-top supermoves - such as guillotinedropping from the sky on your enemy (with predictable results) - called Torture Attacks.
• Bayonneta ahs a spinning jump attack that fires her guns in 360 degrees. She can also perform a handstand and aim the guns on her feet at enemies.
• Bayonneta also wields a katana, but Platinum Games won't reveal the name yet.You can charge this blade for a more powerful attack, which causes a heart to appear on the pommel. The heart beats as you charge it up, and dark fumes billow from the sword.
• More weapons will be added and revealed closer to the game's release. Each weapon has a monster spirit, which makes it stronger, and the context of the combat situation dictates which hairy summon appears.
• Miniboss battle: Angelic foe at the end of Big Little City zone. It's got some huge attacks courtesy of its giant two-handed ax - and this baddie pauses for a dramatic split second with every swing.Luckily, Bayonetta can jump over these attacks with or without Witch Time.Humorously, the giant miniboss has pathetically tiny angel wings, gold piercings, and the requisiet angel's halo.
• A fine mist covers the ground during the miniboss battle, designed to create a "holy atmosphere".The battle ends with an onscreen button prompt, which summons a giant hair dragon who bites the angel miniboss in half.
• The reward for besting this miniboss is a gold record with the descriptor "Angel Singing Voice" but we're not sure whether it unlocks a music track or some other feature.
• Bayonetta has a huge chain and sickle that she uses for both ground-based and airbone attacks.
• The right trigger button on the Xbox 360 controller shoots.Yuo can equip all four guns at once, or you can opt to swap out the pistols in her hands with the sword and use the guns on her feets as well.Certain weapons are specifically designed to be equipped on her hands, feet, or both.
• Bayonetta has been in development stages for a year and half - work started a little after Okami shipped.
• As Bayonetta attacks the enemy angel forces, she breaks of layers of their outer armor.

I read that. I've never been tempted by Devil may cry. Not sure why. I guess I have this general impression that they are too hard and too combo heavy with a camera that could get messy. I dunno, I have this impression of 3-d beat em ups. I was a huge fan of 2-D beat em ups back in the day.
Ninja Gaiden 2, I wonder how this is selling? It's been heavily discounted over here. People must read reviews.
^Or maybe you do not like playing with a transvestite protagonist
Okay now more info aboout Fatal Frame control. I think Vader will like it, because it is like his beloved Resident Evil series. Scary because it controls like shit.
From Neogaf
OK let me help you guys out there that dont understand how this game controls.
I got the game the other day and I have played it for about 2 chapters. Its fun, and scary and to by honest I am also dissapointed by the controls. I am not giving up on the game yet, but its frustrating.
When I first turn the game on you expect to be able to control your character with the analog stick and then look around with the Wii remote. This is the most obvious and natural control choice. But that is not how it works. Let me explain.
OK, first of all, the analog stick controls the walking/running of your character, that part is pretty easy.
The Wii remote is the dumb part. It controls your camera viewpoint. But not with IR with tilt sencing. So if you want to look up you angle the Wii remote up. If you want to look down you angle down. If you want to look left you turn the Wii remote left like you are turning a door nob, and right for looking right.
The flashlight is always facing straight in the direction the character is facing. When you angle up the flashlight angles up.
The whole this is so slow and clunky, and the first time I realized how the game controles I just said out loud to myself "what the fuck". Really it's such a waste of an oportunity.
So far I'm not sure if this will kill the game for me, because I have not gotten to any hard ghosts yet. But trying to take a photo of the ghosts pissed me off. Its so unnatural. You don't point at the ghost and shoot. You have to angle the remote so the camera looks up or down, and try to get the shot. It's like playing a balancing act with the camera. With slow moving ghosts its not so bad, but trying to folow a ghost around a room will be a pain in the ass I just know it.
You would have thought that the Wii with its remote would have made the controls as natural as possible. But instead it just makes this more annoying. I would be happier with just using a normal controler seriously. There is nothing to be gained by what the developers did with these controls.
This is one of those situations where I said to my self, "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?"
I'm still going to have fun with this game. But I don't know how long I'll last.

Another From Gaf
If you want to look left you turn the Wii remote left like you are turning a door nob, and right for looking right.
You can also use the analog stick to turn left and right and forward and backward.
If you hold the C button you and also straif left and right.
But the remote controls are just stupid. Its not difficult to learn, it just doesn't work very well, and really it just makes NO SENSE.

P.S. GG Perfect Bleu is directed by Satoshi Kon. I liked the movie even better than Paprika, so I think you will like it too. By the way there is full frontal nakedness in the movie, so be sure to watch it together with Steel's mom
Nice Dead Rising pic gg.
I'm disappointed with the cuts they made to Okami on the Wii. What was the purpose of that? The combat also sounds disappointing. A shame really because I wanted to pick this version up. I already played the game though and didn't have any problems with the brush on the PS2 so I guess I'll just consider it a great experience with an excellent game and move on.
I recently picked up Zack & Wiki since it was only $20 and the reviews seemed good on it. Also grabbed Resident Evil Wii Edition because it's an awesome game plus I want to play through the Seperate Ways portion. I won't be playing these two games anytime soon though since I'm busy with Soulcalibur IV, Geometry Wars 2, and Mission Mode for Ninja Gaiden II.
That doesn't play like RE, RE has no camera control.
I never said it did. I said they both control like shit.
Hmm....Jet Set Grind Wii and Parasite Eve 3 on PSP as well as the Final Fantasy XIII titles on the PSP. Like I said before E3 was just a drop of this years press event season. (oh yeah!)
In terms with Fatal Frame 4, it seriously seems like some developers just WANT to fuck up their games.

Good purchase on Z and W. Tell me what the separate ways bit is on RE$ like first time through, I never got to play that. Honestly I don't know how you guys can buy different versions of the same game in the first place. I just can't do it, psychologically.
I knew the control would be shitty when you said that there was no IR in the game. I thought maybe they wanted it slower to match a more survival horror style and increase the tension, but twisting like a door knob? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
Perfect Blue is about a stalker right? Are there any sort of flights of fancy like Tokyo Godfathers or Paprika? Sometimes you see these anime films which are just like normal drama type films that I wonder why they make it in animation in the first place. Only Yesterday for instance.
That was the a criticism levelled at Perfect Blue, they might as well made it live action! I say bullcrap, there is no rule that says that anime needs to be fantasy. This anime is compared to Alfred Hitchcock movies. It's awesome, but there are no supernatural stuff in it. Watch it, it's masterfully made!
It's about a girl who is a pop idol and decides to become an actress, but some fans do not like this. Including a stalker. The rest I will not say, because it is better figured out on your own. I did not even know what the movie was about when I started watching it. Must watch.
P.S. Grave of the Fireflies could have been an live action movie too, but I do not see people complaining about that.
P.P.S. Watch Death Note
P.P.P.S. Tokyo Godfather here I come
It's only recently with cheaper computer technology that things have become cheap enough, for the movie industries of countries other than America, to make live action movies with large effects shots - Takeguchi for example aka Brotherhood which matches Saving Private Ryan. Or the Nightwatch film from Russia which matches Hollywood effects. Animation was often Japan's only option when it came to doing films with scenes they couldn't afford to shoot, for instance a lot of the war scenes in Grave of the Fireflies or the war torn look of the city would not have been an easy thing to film back when the movie was made.
If an animation is well made than I don't mind if it's straight up. But some times watching these drama animes I just find them pointless and boring. I like an element of fantasy to my animation as it just feels like a medium where the mind should wander and the creativity flow.
Who cares a good story is a good story. If you find watching some anime drama boring, that it might just be that the story itself is boring. I like fantasy too, but if it is a good story I will watch it. I do not care about how costly it is or how it's made, I just watch it. The reason why Perfect Blue was animated is because of the costs, but I did not think about any of it while watching it.
Now if you excuse I am going to finish Tokyo Godfathers. What an awesome movie so far. If you want impression of it let me know.

Wow. I go to sleep, and the conversation has changed direction in a rather surprising way.

Capcom has announced Resident Evil 5's sales target....2.3 million copies?
Are you fucking kidding me? I mean the Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4 sold 1.6 million copies and thats with a PS2 version being announced when it launched and being released 7 months later. And that's THE GAMECUBE version that isn't counting the PS2 version which sold even more and passed the 2 million barrier. I mean isn't Resident Evil usually a megaton series that sells 4 million plus copies? I mean WTF?
