I fired up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 the other day as well. I am contemplating on starting a New Game + and playing through that. Would also like to get the dlc pass.

I still haven't figured out how to upgrade Poppi.

Finally got some medical results. Biopsies and CT scans didn't show anything of Clinical Significance.

The Colonscopy showed I have inflammation of the terminal ileum. Where the small intestine meets the large intestine. They don't know what is causing it. They gave me some medicaiton for cramping and bloating. And they want me to try this food plan to avoid short chain molecule foods and to see what foods may be triggering it.

Well that's good news and bad news. You don't have cancer, so that's excellent, but you don't have a diagnosis still and I know that can be extremely frustrating. My wife has been dealing with GI issues for 6 years and doctors still can't quite figure it out. It always seems weird how much they still don't understand about how our digestive system works.

At any rate, I'm assuming the diet they are putting you on this kind of like an Elimination Diet? Those can suck because they are so damn bland, but stick with it. If you follow it, you can discover some pretty interesting things about what your stomach does not tolerate.

And if that is the case, before you start it do yourself a favor and make a list of activities you can do instead of eat. Half the trick with stuff like this is keeping yourself distracted when you get hungry.

I tend to have more irregular meal times these days than before and I've been told that is a bad thing as your gut doesn't know what is going on. Some of the advice was suprising, like avoiding fibre as they were hard to digest. Also sucrolose, so basically avoid fruit juice and sparkling drinks. So just drink water FFS?? Oh yeah, avoid dairy too. I might as well be eating grass and drinking water.

Water is good, GG  👍

Ive switched away from Diet Coke (5 or 6 cans per day), and mostly just drink plain water now. Unsweetened coffee in the early mornings only. It took a couple weeks to get used to the change, but I'm feeling and sleeping a lot better now.

If only I can give up on all the chocolate candy...baby steps. Nyaa

Make sure you are wearing headphones. It makes the experience even better. But yes, for the first three quarters of the game it's basically a really interesting walking simulator. Combat does pick up quite a bit towards the end though, so keep your skills sharp.

Ha, I just bought a new pair of headphones...was inspired by this game to get a new set which I've wanted to for awhile anyway. Got the Steelseries Arctis Pro. Supposedly these are pretty top of the line.

Well it at least sounds like it's nothing major man, that's always a good thing. You can sleep a little better now.

Wow I'm not liking the sound of that RE7 streaming thing at all. Regardless of the platform, that sounds shady as hell. So you can't even BUY the game...you rent it for a few months? So it's Playstation Now but for one game. FUCK. THAT.

I don't see how it's any different from renting a game?  I'd be more worried about lag.  There's also a large difference between this and PSNow or Xbone Game Pass, namely that RE7 is a game that simply wouldn't be available on Switch if it were not for this streaming version.

Seems like the kind of thing they are hoping is a huge success so they can do it on every platform to me. Whether it would be available without it isn't really what concerns me. And really, how is that helping Switch players? They're getting ripped off on this compared to other platforms. Gee, instead of just buying it, I can give them $18 every time I want to play the game.

Well no news is better than bad news I suppose, GG.

Hopefully something in your diet is at least partially a culprit!

I'm doing better. I still have some soreness in my hip, moreso after work each day. My doctor told be last December that I'd likely feel pain for about 18 months or so; it's been 11 months now. Hopefully, back to 100% by Christmas. yes

Yay no cancer GG. Hopefully these changes help you out.

Solo tomorrow!!!!! Crazy that we are getting a star wars movie just like that, too close to the last one.

Detroit on friday. Just got my key for Bloodstained 8-bit side game, should be fun.

Battlefield V reveal trailer is insane. Maybe in 8 years games will actually look like that.

Bloodstained is what I call the toilet after a number two.

Bloodstained the sidescroller is when the water makes wavy horizontal lines in it.

I've been playing Stardew Valley the past two days.

I actually like fishing in the game. All the let's plays I saw had people complaining about the controls of fishing so some of them used mods so they didn't have to do anything to catch the fish or they just refused to fish.

It took a few tries to get used to but now I catch almost all of the fish I hook on my fishing pole.

I also got about 1/3 of the way in the mine.

I'm playing the PS4 version, the complaints were on the PC version.
