I just want the Miiverse. Give me a Miiverse again and I will buy a Switch 2 at launch.

And some good controllers that drift after three weeks of useage.

It's Friday evening. I has Stellar Blade, a pepperoni pizza, and an A&W root beer. Game time!

I don't think they ever really fixed the joy con. My oled splatoon edition joycons randomly disconnect sometimes.

I don't think Switch 2 will launch this year.

I think business Korea is saying that based on the system being done and production scheduled to start. We heard Nintendo delayed it for the software to catch up and so they produce more so there wouldn't be shortages. I believe they'll just be producing units this year so they'll have stock for 2025 launch.

From all the chatter, its been ready to go for a while now, they could have released it this year if they wanted to.

Yeah, you have to wonder what software they're waiting for.  I can hardly believe they'd only have 3 games ready if they launched in 2024, I'm assuming their own, so far secret, tentpole release is lagging behind.

Are you all just stupid? It's StarTropics 3. What other Game would they use for the launch? The Switch is pretty much on track to being the best selling game system of all time. When you make a sequel to that, you better come out guns blazing with something that's greatness is immediately recognized.

Did you guys remember that you can earn gold points from your switch game carts?

You have to insert the game cart, press + and select My rewards. Each game gets you 35 to 50 points.

Pikmin 4 has bonus points at the moment. There is a time limit and it doesn't work on imported games (my copy of Apollo Justice just arrived from abroad)

I checked my older games and earned around £5 of credit to spend on the eshop.

That's enough for two super cheap games or 1 more expensive. 🤔

Now I'm debating getting Outer Worlds.

I earned a lot of the Wii U with that program. I never did quite as well with the switch though. Nintendo also cut back the amount of rewards they offered If I remember correctly.

Godamn, Snowrunner can go a little too far on the hard-core side.

There's this bug, I guess where it won't let you unload cargo sometimes. But then if you try again it works, so no problem.

So each (world) like Michigan has 4 areas.

Two of these areas do not have garages. You won't know this unless you look at the global map screen and look for the garage symbol crossed out. Without a garage (base) you can't recover and refuel via the menu.

So you drive miles from one area into the other, and if you tip your truck or run out of fuel you have to recover to a garage in the previous area. Meaning you have to schlep back to get back to the other area.

So I loaded up two trucks in a convoy, preloaded the materials I would need to do the mission. I drove from my garage to the next area. Drove miles to the cargo point, I had exactly the correct cargo only the game wouldn't accept it. Because somehow the wood and concrete I'd brought from one part of Michigan wasn't accepted. It wanted me to find resources in this area to deliver. Pain in the ass.

So I tried again but this time brought a big and fuel truck.

Now my problem is there's no room in this area to turn trailers around. I'm having to detach trailers then turn the truck, reattach and pull the trailer backwards.

I woke up 3am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I played 18 holes of golf as Jack Nicklaus. He's never played so poorly in his life. Shook his head with every shot. LOL

I prefer Fred Couples: 36 Great Holes.  Which does sound kind of smutty.

This weekend, I've been mostly playing Stellar Blade. Really enjoying it a lot so far. No noticable bugs or glitches; Looks and feels like a finished game, which is unheard of these days.

I also got back into playing Street Fighter 6. The new charaters are cool to fight against; I may buy them soon, so I can try playing them. SF6 is becoming my second favorite SF game.

This weekend I’ve been playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Both on Game Pass. Eiyuden Chronicle takes awhile to get going and has some annoyances but so far seems like an enjoyable spiritual successor to Suikoden. Jedi Survivor is a great sequel to Fallen Order so far. Am really enjoying that.

Been playing quite a bit:

Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising (gearing up for some sweet Suikoden nostalgia)

Megaton Musashi W: Wired (Level 5's answer to Armored Core)

LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom (adventuring in Hyrule for months now; always something to do!)

Just bought:

Stellar Blade

SaGa: Emerald Beyond

Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes
