Xbox going all in on their Xbox everywhere mentality this holiday.  Any thoughts?

Doesn't really do anything for me. I've got to admit that the ability to play my xbox on my phone, hundreds of miles from home, is pretty cool.

I’ll probably just stick to playing my games on a standard console system myself but giving people multiple options as to how they can play their games is great.

I'm more interested in the cat box. Nyaa

Are there Xbox apps on smart TVs now? I don't have my smart TV connected to the Internet.

I expect the "biggest technological leap in console history" will just be people streaming Xbox games from high powered servers from the cloud. Not a direction I want gaming to go but I'm old.

The idea is good, it's the execution that matters.

The fire tv stick app is terrible.

Fun fact, up until about 50 years ago, Turkish food was always eaten in a bathroom. So it's nice to hear that you're eating in a traditional restaurant. Places like that are getting hard to find.

I don't have it often.

Funny the toilet has a light timer. I was in there so long the lights cut out and I was sitting in the dark taking a dump.

Looking to get an OLED on black Friday.

A site says the Samsung s95d is the best premium one.

Very expensive though. Hope it drops on black Friday. Or the Samsung s90c is a great cheaper option.

Apparently OLED tvs last twice as long as LCD or LED tvs.

The downside with Samsung is they don't support Dolby vision. They have HDR10+ though. I'm still yet to see what difference hdr makes to tv and film on my tv.

I've had my TV for 12 years now, probably longer than most people would even want to hold on to a tv these days.  I wouldn't chose one tv over another based on claims it could last le even longer.

Stalker 2 sounds amazing, great emergent gameplay but filled with bugs, a damn shame. I'm interested in DQ3 but full price no thanks. I guess for Black Friday I'll get Sonic Shadow if it's cheap.

I'm still greatly enjoy h Dragon Age, the amount of builds is impressive and combat is a blast so far. Main missions are also very exciting and have big moments. It's not biowares best but their best since ME3 I think.

Samsung is pretty good, though I've had two and both died. I've had great experience with LG and good experience with TLC (in terms of picture quality).

Like AC said, I would not worry about longevity, Even my TLCs have long outlived my expectations and still deliver a quality picture (much to my chagrin, I'd love them to die and upgrade them to LG).

They should have done it 4 years ago. It's their future path to any level of success.

Pamela Hayden's final episode will be this Sunday.

Yes, listen to me  cheeky

Also, about my own old-ass TV: one thing I will miss whenever I eventually upgrade is the wide array of legacy ports for connecting retro consoles.  TV's these days seem to only come with a handfull of HDMI ports.
