Nintendo World report said Nintendo released 720p screens.
I read it too, and I think the mayor takeaway is that no, it is probably not running on Switch 2, rather than pedantic discussions about the resolution.
Yeah, I just figured that Metroid Prime 4 was running on Switch hardware as well.
I don't think there are many other switch games that can rival prime 4 as it was shown.
Prime remastered and the Crysis 2 and 3 remastered? Luigis Mansion 3 maybe? Nothing else comes close. Prime 4 does look improved even over Prime remastered. The shader work and geometry in particular.
Prime 1 remastered in 2k via Mclassic is so good.
That was the first thing I thought too. Them describing Dig Foundry as "tech experts" must have raised some laughs at Digital Foundry.
RIP, Donald Sutherland.
R.I.P. Donald Sutherland.
Playing arcade games on Switch during lunch today reminds me of how much I absolutely dispise Joycons, so I ordered HORI Nintendo Switch Split Pad Compact - Midnight Blue this afternoon. Should be delivered tomorrow. A real D-pad!
I use it for demanding 2d platformers and Streetfighter.
I hope switch 2 has an option for a dead, maybe with a magnetic disc you can pop out.
Wow the snowrunner community is awesome, as is Saber Interactive.
There are fanmade mods, even on consoles. Not only can you get modified vehicles and trailers, they've created new vehicles you can download.
I refuse to, as I don't want to make things too easy. But they've done cool stuff like shrink unused space on trucks. Or make trailers match the truck colours.
Then I just learned they've created whole new maps you can download and play.
Bought this beast with real money. It's the 2nd best truck in the game and the most useful over the other Zikh.
Also discovered the best truck in the game. Even with these beasts the game can still challenge you, lack of snow tires has you sliding down icy hills. Ice covered lakes crack underneath you. And the sheer size of some narrow pathways make it unfeasible for some vehicles.
I got my Hori Split Pad Compact controllers in the mail. I've been playing with it for about an hour now. Sooo much better than Nintendo's Joycons.

Unfortuantely, I didn't think about the case; these won't fit inside my current one.
I took my dog for a 2 hour hike early this morning, then played Pilotwings 64 all day like it's 1996. I spent the past couple hours flying the hang glider around the levels and ignoring the goals. Been a long time since I played it that way. Quite relaxing.
I did that all the time with the jetpack in the original game.
I really enjoyed Pilotwings on the SNES. Played quite a bit of it. I don’t think I ever got around to playing it on the N64 though.
