I just checked the Microsoft store and it's a little steep. I bought the Bioshock Collection for $9.99 this morning.
I made the mistake of buying Bioshock Infinite separately before they starting slashing the price on the Trilogy.
Murder on the Orient express is on sale on Switch right now with a healthy 35% off. I'd buy it but I liked the demo a lot so I'm probably going physical.
You guys should check the Switch winter sale, so many games on sale, ending soon. A whole bunch of sales ended, then a whole load of different games came on sale.
I'm playing BG3 the most but also decided to play Phantasy Star 4 for the first time, cause it had a 30th anniversary and people say it's great. Never played a real Phantasy Star game, only PSO. It's a fun 16-bit RPG so far.
I also bought Ghost Trick for $20 on switch, loved the demo and know a bunch of people love the game.
For me, it'll l have to be quite powerful and and have a lot of must-have exclusives for me to pay that much, I think.
That would be about $500 here then. Yeah I’d buy it for that. I’ve had all the Nintendo home console and handheld systems, can’t see me ever skipping one. I just enjoy too many of their games.
I have run out of storage space on my PS5. That includes the 1TB expansion M.2 drive I installed. And I don't have all of my games installed either. This gen is brutal.
Went to EBGames (Gamestop) for a new PS4 controller. The store is almost all non-games now.
The clerk:
a) Had to look up in the computer if they had any, and seemed confused as to what I was asking for.
b) After 20 seconds of searching they did not have one, or any controller for sale.
I miss the old days when Gamestop actually had nothing buy games, guides and accessories but also when every staff member who worked there (except for the occassional manager) was a gamer.
Still worth going in though, as Australia gets some games on physical disc that don;t get a physical release elsewhere so 1 in 7 times you find something quirky. Also worth going for eavesdropping. A Dad my age comes in with his 11 year old and asks if they have "the new playstation" and "does is play Halo?". This other clerk did know at least that Halo was an XBox franchise and steered him to the Xbox section. "Does the sterring wheel thing come with it?" No, it doesn't it's $200+ "Okay, well I'll need that and does it come with a game?" No. "What is the latest Halo?" and on it went...

I'm surprised my local Walmart still sells new PS4 controllers.

Yeah I definitely need to get an expansion drive for my PS5 asap. Previously was going to get a 2TB Western Digital SSD but am now contemplating on getting a 4TB one.

The way this gen is going, 4TB will be useful.
I ended up ordering an external USB WD 2TB SSD for $99. PS4 games are playable from it, which will free up both of my internal drives quite a bit for PS5 games.

Probably not for me. My Switch has been one of my least played consoles in a very long time. I think my time of needing two consoles has passed. I'm quite content with one new system, likely a Sony one, and older consoles and handhelds.
I'm stuck in my RE2 Claire playthrough. No idea where to go except just keep searching around, but Mr. X keeps chasing me making that difficult and nerve-racking.

I want to try Atomic Heart some day. Ken Levine's new Bioshock-ish game,Judas, looks interesting so far too.

The Ghost trick demo was fun. Don't like the bordered picture though.
I'm looking forward to the Apollo Justice Trilogy this month.

Every gen is like that. I'm constantly moving or removing games.

Is Pachter still making predictions? Haven't heard from him in a while.
He still has his YouTube channel. Gaming media ignores him now.

Edit: I figured it out. 👍Ooof
