What the hell is it with women and murder shows? It seems like just about every woman I know over the age of 30 can't get enough of serial killer podcasts and other related programming. I suspect they're fantasizing about killing their partners, but that's just my theory.
Godamn you're right. I find those shows so boring and depressing.
How many serial killer documentaries can you watch?!
Still Playing Sky would sort, there's tons of things i'd forgotten about, such as riding a boat in a desert that turns into an ocean and have an emotional controlled cannon to fire things or the amazing Minecraft bits. And.
I really enjoy seeing the things that breath of the worlds and tears of the Kingdom evolved from skyward sudden...nymdemgodhtsgyy
I'm early into Baldur's Gate 3. Really enjoyed the start to the game. It weirdly felt like a throwback in design to early-to-mid 2000s when I actually liked new games.

So most nights I work with a cool dude that plays video games, he has switch, he's playing Zelda. The other day it's an older woman, she watches murder shows all night long lol.

Well it wouldn't be the summer in Florida without a hurricane, and it looks like we've got one. Good news is that it looks like it's shifting further Northwest from me so I don't think I'll have anything other than some wind and rain, but later might be more in its way. Anyway, wheeeee.
I'm not working tomorrow because of it, I doubt we get that hit, probably just bad storms.
Anyway no complaints now she can watch her murder shows in 4K.

I think women like seeing the bad guys get caught. I get it I mean physically it must affect them knowing they are more vulnerable generally speaking. So seeing revenge type stuff would be satisfying.

I don't know if I agree with that. Mainly because so many of them are unsolved crimes. No one gets caught, no justice is served, just a big pile of severed arms.

Tittilation then I guess. I cannot watch anything beyond comic violence. It makes her scratch her head becuase I'll leave the room and say something to the effect of, "I'm not watching that". Then the next day she'll see me sniping someone in a video game or beating the shit out of someone in Yakuza.

You just can't bear to sit back and watch while others have all the fun. As for crime shows, it depends on the show. Taggart was a puzzle with well-written characters, the bill was a soap opera, the wire comforting social commentary. Then again, Law and Order is pure horror-like titillation where very clearly you're meant to identify with the criminals, but be relieved when they're inevitably punished in the end; just like the sluts in horror. Or Midsomar Murders...the English variety, where I guess it's the same thing minus the morality...and you just enjoy the ride. Either way, it's clear your squamishness is merely cover for your sadism!

Research and community.
Unsolved cases are engaging because they're ripe for conversation and speculation. Who was it? Why weren't they caught? Look at how the police screwed everything up! Maybe we can figure this out!
Beyond that, these are cases that give psychological insight into the worst and most dangerous men. Concern for personal physical safety and taking many precautions is just a background part of life for women, so true crime becomes relatable, as these are stories of the why and how of those precautions. They act as warnings of what can happen. Rules to follow come up to give a sense of control, that this is something that could be avoided.

Well holy hell. Sony is increasing the prices for PS+. Starting September 6th each tier will increase by the following amounts:
Essential - +$20
Extra - +$35
Premium - +$40
That’s a 33% increase. Those are USD prices for yearly subscriptions so different currencies will vary. I get that subscription services tend to increase periodically but that’s a hell of a jump there.

It's no accident. They know what they are doing.
Because of Germany there's this zombie game that isn't even listed on the eshop.
It's gone on sale in America for low prices and I'd like to get it there. The physical is quite expensive here.
I've seen some videos saying to make a new Nintendo ID on the Internet.
Some say to use the Web to change the region on your account. Some say that you have to empty out your credit first.
Some say you have to buy eshop cards in foreign currency etc.
Combustion. Never had one die that fast before. They usually 3-5 years for new cars.
