Also throwing up my best wishes to your dad GG.

And I'll go ahead and admit this too, I've never beaten wind waker either. I got very close on both the GameCube and the Wii U versions. The damn triforce hunt at the end kind of kills me each time.

The GC version plays on the Retroid, so I might give it one more shot.

It's like a treasure hunt. I recall it feeling like they were just padding out the game. I thought they'd improved it on the Wii U version but maybe not.

I do believe that they did improve it in the Wii U version.

Yeah, you can sail faster and one way or another they remove the step that helps speed it up as well.

But yeah it was always padding. I think they were supposed to be another library through two and they just ran out of time so that was the solution.

They should have added them for the Remaster.

they've said before that the plans they had for those dungeons were ultimately repurposed for other Zelda games in the series.

Those dungeons are far too good for anything in a series like The Legend of Zelda.

The Switch Winter sale is on.

Highlights include Borderlands Legendary collection with all 3 games for £7.99

Yooka Laylee is 90% off at £3.24 so I bought it.

So far I picked up:

Hunt down

Yooka Laylee

Badlands

Suicide of Rachel Foster

The Takeover

Golf club Wasteland

Buried Stars

Lost in Random

Hunt down is (from the first level) kinda awesome. The original RoboCop arcade game is one of my favourite arcade games. It does get cheap AF later and the frame rate tanks, but the first few levels are burned into my memory.

Hunt down has a similar atmosphere, it doesn't feel like Contra. You can duck behind barrels and hide in door ways. Every shot counts though it's not scare with the ammo. Controls are tight, artwork is excellent.

I bought the BioShock collection for €10.  I own them on Steam, but it's just much more practical and comforta ble to play on Switch.
