I finished Scorn, and started Beacon Pines. Haven't had a chance to play any more Bayo 3.

I've finally recovered from my second bout of Covid this weekend. It wasn't as nearly bad as the first time I had it, thankfully, but it still put me down for over a week. Shitty thing is I could not play any games while sick; I felt even worse when tried.
Anyway, I've been playing Super Mario Cats a little bit yesterday and today. Great game.
Good to hear!

Glad you've recovered, man. My wife had trouble walking for about a week after she had it.
I've still got a bit of brain fog and fatigue, it's very annoying. I wonder how long it lasted after the first; it was hard to tell as the brainfog resulted in my broken collarbone. This time all the brain fog has cost me so far is $100 in cash I lost. Also, congrats on your upcoming trip!
I ended up spending a lot of time playing Harvest Moon: Mad Dash this weekend. It is a pretty decent puzzle game, and sadly probably Natsume's best use of the Harvest Moon license since the split with Marvelous.
That said, as of tomorrow my Retroid shows up, and after that I doubt I'll spend much more time with it.
I spent some time playing NoManSky, trying to remember what fuel my terraforming gun runs on, which spacestation I need to go to to buy wiring and which button gets my rocket ship to take off.
Other than that I played some Mario Rabbids on my borked Switch Lite. It mostly still works. Didn't get around to ordering a replacement stick yet.
The first home video game system we ever had was a RadioShack Pong knockoff. It was hooked up to an old black and white TV in my sister's room, but fortunately that worked out.
So this is kind of a funny story. The company I work for basically assists lawyers with some of their work. I'll spare you all the details, because it's too dull to put into words. However, I actually made a social media post for us promoting us along with the 50th anniversary of Pong. This might be the most proud of my work I've ever been.

It was a back and forth joke regarding lien resolution and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. If you're one of the couple hundred people that understand that stuff, I swear to God the joke is great.

Needed a second game to play and chill when not playing Astral Chain.
Started Deep Diving Adventures, it's a scuba diving game that cost less than 2 Bucks.
I got it mainly out of nostalgia for Endless Ocean.
It's funny that even done on more powerful hardware it's still probably uglier than those wii games.
The game itself so far is fairly relaxing and easy to play, yet very vanilla. You just swim about pressing A to collect various objects on the sea floor. It's like a litter collection game. You can't move to the next area without getting a certain percentage of litter.
In Endless ocean you had encounters with amazing sea life. Here I've barely seen one turtle. Also there are no epic detailed close ups like in Endless Ocean. Also no decent narrative structure. Still it's fairly non offensive as a time waster.
Monster Hunter Rise is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, and PS5 January 20th 2023. Going to be on Game Pass day one. The expansion, Sunbreak, will come out later in Spring 2023.

Didn't you already spend like a Brazilion hours playing it on Switch.

I'm still enjoying my adventure in the old west with Red Dead Redemption 2. Good stuff.
Still playing through Final Fantasy XV. Also fired up a bit of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak to check out the recent update. Good stuff.
Good to hear!

It's supposedly an Ace Attorney style game that's really good.
Seems to be a Korean game, but it has both Korean and Japanese voice acting.
Astral Chain has gone from a good game, to an irritating game I was going to give up on. To one of the most interesting games I've played in years.
It's a very good curiosity as a game. I'd recommend it, if you can persevere and tweak the options to your liking.
I feel they should make it a GTA style open world detective game, even with the existing combat.
Would be great to ride my bike about, explore the city and investigate crimes.
Happy 50th birthday Pong!
50 years?! Damn. Happy 50th Pong.
What did you say?
Back and forth...like a game of pong? Well done.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
