there's a couple of settings that need to be enabled I've seen on reviews for the screen to be optimised.
This vivid console colours option.
Why would Nintendo ship it with less than ideal screen settings? I would not have even thought to look for that.
I know.
Nintendo life even had to do a video, for people complaining about the screen. How to enable the options.
Switch normal was like that too. Automatic resolution, doesn't always look as good compared to setting it to 1080p.
And there's this other option in the settings I enabled which improved the visuals a lot. Think was RGB HDMI or something. Or an option similar to HDR (but obviously not real HDR)
Anyhow, can't believe the OLED Splatoon 3 switch doesn't even include THE GAME.
Not even digitally. I bought it already but still wtf?
Played a bit of Splatoon 3.great stuff as always. Hoping the single player picks up.
I imported my Splatoon 2 data and it said I had 2000 hrs played lol
Regarding the OLED Switch, I've got one and the screen looks great. I recently had a regular Switch in my possession and its screen was a bit underwhelming in comparison.
And it costs more than the standard OLED, and its covered in Splatoon 3 imagery on the box.
But the game isn't even included digitally. Stupid AF
Anyway just watched the N. Direct.
Not bad, Pikmin 4,new Octopath Traveler, Zelda tears of the sun and a ton of ports.
Resident Evil remake 2,3,7 and 8.
Fucking cloud versions. There's a demo of re8 now available. Might try it but still dissatisfied.
RE revelations 2 and re5 are two of the best ports and best looking games on the system. Both in handheld and on the TV. With gyro aiming to boot.
Was hoping for néw hardware news. So I could decide if I want an OLED or not. Meh

I saw the splatoon Oled switch in store and it said a digital copy of the game was included?
On amazon it said Splatoon 3 was sold separately. Several times.

Regardless, I have mine docked 99% of the time.
I used to be 50/50 docked vs handheld. But probably play 70/30 on portable more these days. Wouldn't mind a better screen and better speakers.
Great Direct, lots of good stuff shown that I’m interested in. Finally got an official name for the Breath of the Wild sequel and a date for it. May 5th, 2023.

But as far as zelda's go, I'd really like to see a full on remake of OoT.
StarTropics III baby! Let’s do this!
Star Tropics? What's that?

Yeah, it’s pretty lame that they don’t give a digital download for the game in these Special Edition Switches.
That is bizarre.
Got about half a dozen hours into Monster Hunter World and I can tell that I’m totally going to buy this game again.
Why must you turn this place into a den of lies!

By Miu Watanabe.
Damnit it, you got me! I believed you up until Excite Truck 2!
That's terrible on many different levels.
