Just listened to the latest GU Podcast. GT7 is a very confusing game. There's cappuccino cars and cake cars?
I agree. I think Tom is understandably seduced by the high graphic quality. I've been there, I get it, but the game sounds like an abusive relationship.
I read that this studio is the result of a merger between Criterion and Codemasters. It's sad to see an end to the Criterion name. It's also means less quality studio's working on racing games.

GG, I know youre too shy to say it's yours, but I will watch it. Congrats, Gg!
It's not mine.
I don't have the patience to play and review games regardless of quality to review.

I check out SwitchUp every so often. My problem isn't finding new games to play, it's playing the ones I already own. Games only seem to hold my attention for very short periods of time these days like 30 minutes or so. It's rare that I play for more than that in one sitting.
You need a 2nd screen game. Try Enter the gungeon or Asphalt 9 on switch whilst watching TV.
Seems unique to say the least. Grim Fandango remade in this art style would at least look great.
stick it to the man was pretty good, even if the gameplay couldn't carry it through the runtime of the game.
There's a sequel of sorts, flippin' death, but I couldn't get in to that one.
I've never been a big fan of the Paper Mario series. I only played 1,000 Year Door and Super Paper Mario, and they were both good, but I just couldn't finish them. In both cases, I made it 2/3 or 75% of the way through the game and then I just put it down and was ready to move on to something new.
Probably self-serving but still very interested:
John Romero will publish a memoir next yearCalled "Doom Guy: Life in First Person"

It's not strange at all, the cake and cappucino missions are all served at a cafe, which ties into car culture's "cars and coffee" movement.
All the talent left Criterion years ago.
At the final final boss of Paper Mario and it's bullllllshit.
It's not mine.

Asphalt 9 is free.
Yup, I remember that one.
Amazing art style.
Wtf am I playing tho?

Not bad. The accents are laid on a bit thick though. I'm not a fan of having to put Subtitles on.
So I have to listen very carefully to hear these weird voices.

Gameplay is very simple though.
I might get Flipping death just for the art.
No way.
Color Splash or the Thousand year door.
Super Paper Mairo is my favorite in that series anyway.
None of them have ever matched the fun and discovery of the original. I was living by myself, hours from family and Paper Mario made my days brighter.
I still need to try the first one.
