For any other hobo gaming enthusiasts out there, GameStop has one of their better sales going on right now - 5 for $50. You can choose any five games regularly priced for $20 or less for $50. So if you select five games that are right around that $20 price point, you can get almost half off everything. On the other hand, if you select five games that are around 8 or $9, you might want to rethink your strategy.

So I imported The Great Ace Attorney. TBH I couldn't even remember if the switch was region free, it is and the game works. However as an early buyer they gave me this code to unlock additional artwork and bonus stuff that you have to use on the eshop to unlock it. I can't get it to work and I'm wondering if its because im using the UK Eshop

Nice to see that the Mass Effect Legendary Edition performed above expectations. Love those games and more for the franchise.

Really enjoying Dark Eye Chains of Satinav. It's like playing a LOTR graphic adventure game. The art is beautiful, locations interesting and the puzzles are well worked and make sense. The fairy girl is mildly annoying. I seem to have made a game altering choice, I think, which may backfire. But yeah, I've now played 4 games from Daedalic Entertainment and the games do live up to the "Lucasarts of Germany" tag gamers have given them.

I saw that McDonald's controller online over a week ago.  I wouldn't use it because I think my fingers would begin to feel greasy.

Eldest-Souls-Is-Now-Available-For-Xbox-One-And-Xbox-780x470.jpg

Have you guys heard of Eldest Souls? It released last week. Switch up gave it a 90% score and given their weirdo combo ratings system that's incredibly high. Most great games get 73%+. Here's the video review: https://youtu.be/-wCfVh2ZNjY

I just totalled up how many games I've completed this year. It's 55,just beat Dark Eye Chains of Satinav. I just turned on my new games to see what they are like, Way remastered seems good, excellent HD rumble and pixel art. Dex is awesome, it's like 2d deus ex! Dark eye Memoria seems on point like Satinav. Burnout remastered graphics look old even compared to Wii U NFS most wanted but yeah, gets me wondering why there's no gta on Switch. It runs fine.

Finished Persian Nights 2. Not as good as the first but still fun. The main character artwork is strangely poor though. Started Leisure Suit Larry Wet Dreams don't dry which is a remake of the original. Lol at the start of the game it asks if you are old enough to play then asks you questions only older people would get. Trivia about movies or the 1990 world cup. I've failed several times already.

So Leisure Suit Larry is basically a game for people our age. Larry gets frozen in stasis and reemerges in our time and then the game basically shows how messed up our time is with hipsters and influencers etc. Pretty funny and although it's a game for adults it's pretty PG, though has some mild swearing. The age verification thing is hilarious and will basically stop any kids from playing it unless they know 80s and 90s trivia. One annoying thing is the control scheme which has you moving Larry with the left stick but you can't just walk up to something, have the icon appear and press A. Instead you also have a pointer to control a cursor using the right stick. It essentially makes moving Larry directly pointless and yet you can't flip the controls to use the left stick with the cursor. Also started Afterparty, another game which is basically college grads chatting shit. But this time you're in hell with demons so it's pretty entertaining but jaggy as fuck. Also tried out Burnout Paradise remastered again this time on the 4ktv and I've got to say I find it really underwhelming visually. People say the Wii U was around Ps3/360 powered but there's a generational difference between Burnout Paradise and Wii U NFS Most wanted. Burnout Paradise to me looks like an HD remaster of an OG Xbox game.

I’ve been playing Jedi Fallen Order this weekend and it’s a pretty damn good game. Kind of like Dark Souls/Sekiro but also like Tomb Raider with level traversal and puzzle solving. It’s been very enjoyable so far.

So what have you young padawans been playing?

I've been playing Supraland, a pretty fantastic Metroid/Zelda type. I'm  amazed how good it is.
