you can make jokes, but I have been trying to prevent certain people for voting for like 20 years. And while I won't say I'm right, I will say that my plans would have prevented what went on for the last 4 years.
Oh boy, I need to chime in about fireworks. We had neighbors that would fire them for every occasion that they could. Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Christmas, New Years. I believe they even fired some for Thanksgiving one year. Where do you buy fireworks for Thanksgiving?
We moved back in February and our new neighbors fired some last night and I'm guessing they may again tonight, but I'll take that over the previous ones.

Yeah, there’s been people around me who have been setting off fireworks for at least four days straight. We had Canada Day on July 1st so there was that. Then of course since we’re a border city to the US then you got to celebrate with them as well because why not. As for the days in between who knows why.
Speaking of “dumb fun” I’ve mostly spent the weekend playing Maneater. It’s kind of entertaining just exploring the ocean, eating humans and other fish, and mutating yourself into a ravenous eating machine. Actually just finished the story and now just exploring and getting more secrets and mutations.

Bought 3 more games today, Noir Chronicles, which is another Artifex Mundi game, My Memory of US which is a black and white WW2 inspired game where evil nazi robots invade. And My Brother Rabbit which is a point and click where a brother enters his sick sisters mind where there's a fantasy world. I think.
Also been watching various videos, best Switch Visual novels. Looking to get into some. The Japanese tend to price these games fairly high though, so I'm waiting for price drops. I've downloaded a few demos. AI The Somnium files seems to be great, I'm going to try the demo this week.
Jeff Bezos is stepping down (sideways?) as CEO of Amazon after founding it 27 years ago. He apparently wrote a letter to shareholders in 1997 that still gets sent out every year. It's an interesting read. With todays perspective it all seems perfectly sane, but it shows how he perfectly predicted how the internet would change how we buy goods. Here's the link:

Fuck. Just had another car accident this morning. Looks like my car is probably totaled. I'm mostly just banged up. I'm at the hospital right now getting checked out. They just did a CT scan. Waiting for the results. I don't feel seriously injured.
