There was one game, maybe DQ7, where I won super huge at the beginning of the game. I won big a few times in a short span of time and then won pretty much the biggest possible jackpot. I ended up cashing in and getting a metal bubble shield, or something that just wrecked the games balance for a very very long time. That was good stuff.

I've been replaying New Super Mario Bros U on Switch. The bump in resolution is very nice; colors pop more, and The Switch Pro controller feels much, much better than the U-pad ever did. 👍

I finished Beat Cop, started Carrion, made further progress on Sam's Story and dabbled in a little New Super Mario Bros. Wii U.

I’ll no doubt remember it when I hear it but I just can’t think of it right now.

Skit in which Kramer appeared on the show to be interviewed about his coffee table book.

Oh shit yeah I remember that now. It’s a book, that turns into a coffee table. Nyaa

That massive data leak that happened to Nintendo not long ago is really bearing a lot of fruit. So many games’ source code and stuff. Apparently an actual Luigi model was found in Mario 64.

Surprisingly, none of the code for StarTropics 3 has been found. I guess it just proves that Nintendo has that sealed tight and a vault and it's just waiting on the right moment to unleash it.

Agreed. It clearly must be so amazing that they feel we as a species are not ready for it. I can only hope that one day we evolve enough to fully appreciate its majesty and Nintendo will deem us worthy enough for it.

Hey Robio I’m curious as to how my pace is in Dragon Quest XI. Just recently hit the 50 hour mark and I’m at the point of having just defeated the giant squid at Lonalulu.

It's a little tough for me to judge, because I'm not sure how much extra content is in the S version of the game. In the standard version of the game, I was wrapping up the first act at the 50-hour point, and if I'm not mistaken, you still have three or four sizable segments before you get there. That's about 15 more hours.

Hello from still the Covid capital of the world. Even our baseball team infects everything. A hurricane might be coming but I assume it will see the Covid and turn away.

Still playing Ghost which is very good but it's too standard an open world game. They just patched in a super hard mode which has brought new life into the game for me.

I just finished up a super secret NDA beta test on a game that I very much wanted to play that will be out soon. It's fantastic!!!

I’ve been taking it at a very leisurely pace so this doesn’t sound too surprising.

Next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update coming out on the 30th will have fireworks, visit friend’s islands via dreams, and very limited backup saves. Backup saves only accessible from Nintendo if your Switch breaks or gets stolen.

But you can do custom fireworks. You know what that means right? Penis in the skies!
