Not sure what's going to be next. Probably won't be Lost Legacy though. I look forward to playing it, but for now I am all Uncharted out. if anything, I'll probably take a brief break and catch up on some movies and TV and possibly some productive stuff.
Maybe one day you can be up for some Uncharted multiplayer with me.
Maybe. I'll need to get back on PS Plus at some point first though.I always liked The Last of Us' multiplayer so I'm sure I'll enjoy this.
I made a cacao plant farm in Animal Crossing. I aimed to make it look like a Man from Delmonte commercial. But with oil barrels and cash bags it kinda looks like a cocaine field.
You even have your own plane to smuggle it into America.
I was looking at the article that robio posted about TLoU2's sales and was just amazed that to this day, GTAV, Mario Kart 8 and Minecraft are still the sales phenomenons that they are.
I’d love to see that too but given how well MK8 is selling I think Nintendo will want to hold off on MK9 until they have new hardware to sell.
Here's the link. I'm not sure how many truly interesting games are going to get shown off, but might be worth watching if you don't have anything else going on. https://www.ngpx.games/
I'm gonna be stuck doing school work and entertaining four kids so I doubt I'll get to see it. I'll check for highlights.
Digital Foundry did an article on what price differences we can expect between the disc and disc-less PS5. Actual building cost only differs about $20, but they're guessing the price difference to consumer will be in the $50 range and that Sony will anticipate on earning the difference back through PSN subscription and higher earnings per game sold digitally (reported to be about $. They further hypothise that this price difference might be just enough to be able to claim to launch at $499 with the discless version. They'd be very surprised to see a larger difference in price to consumer, and I agree with them.
I dont know how sales will be for this console, but it feels like the PS3 launch again.
I think $499 is a little steep for most people to want to buy at first. Under $400 feels a little better. It's still steep, but better price point.
Yeah, but PS4 and Xbone were conservative designs. PS5 and Xbox Series use a lot of more cutting edge technologies that will be expensive to come by. I don't think we'll be seeing either sell at $400, but that both will aim more for the $499 pricebracket at which the Xbone X launched. Perhaps Lockheart could sell for a sub $400 pricetag.
Will that matter to the general public?
No, but I don't think that what matters to the general public will outweigh the economical realities. Both consoles were clearly engineered to a high standard, which means that the prices will be high unless Sony and MS are willing to eat a big loss on each machine sold. Sony already stated that they feel 'value' is more important than the 'sticker price'. Value has little relation with affordability.
I think the pricing will be:
PS5
Xbox
New Harvest Moon looked pretty good.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 looked great.
Guilty Gear Strive looked awesome.
Some other interesting stuff like Trails of Cold Steel and Y’s IX.
The other thing that got me excited was the new Shiren Wanderer game. It's been ages since we've seen a Chunsoft dungeon crawler, and even if they decided to go with the most basic graphic style, I'm always a sucker for that gameplay.
Aww man, MS is having a Surface Studio 2 sale. Base model is now 'only' €3550 incl. VAT. It's insane money for a luxury product I don't need, but man, I'm still tempted.
This probably also means we're about to see the Studio 3.
