Ketchup won the special edition splatfest! Justice 2 years in the making after the monstrous mayonaise baffled the world by winning Splatoon2's first splatfest.
Krispy Kreme popped up out of nowhere several years ago, and they were really nothing special. The glaze is so sugary, it's like you're eating the glaze out of the bowl in which it was mixed..with a few doughnut crumbs as garnish. I mean, they're still good, but far from the best doughnuts I've had.
Krispy Kreme is overrated. They opened a store in my city a decade or so ago. It closed down a year later, despite it's initial popularity. People grew tired of it very quickly.
Definitely agree with Kristpy Kreme being mediocre. There's a local shop in the town that I work in called "Lickin' Good Donuts" and those donuts are delicious.
In somewhat related news: Dunkin Donuts is opening up their first shop in Belgium this year. This worries some people as a donut is far more unhealthy than our local backery products. I however am happy that I'll be able to easily buy a dozen donuts once or twice a year for personal use. And I know that for many here a donut is a donut, but boy, there is a big difference in quality and the dunkin ones are pretty good all around.
I'm sure its handle differently in Europe, but in the US Dunkin Donuts, or rather 'Dunkin' as they officially renamed themselves, took a hit in quality a couple years ago. The donuts used to be made in store, but now they are shipped in. This has lowered the quality of the donuts as well as the available selection.
This all seems to have happened around the time they chose to start focusing more on their coffee, which their credit is very good. Still, I wish they would remember what brought them to the dance so to speak. They actually will run out of donuts if you get there late in the day.
I hope that is not the case across the country. One of the first friends I made in the US as a teenager immigrant was the Cambodian franchisee of a Dunkin Donuts. I seriously would go in there daily and I'd buy (or he'd give me donuts). When I asked his name, in broken english he responded, "Too ugly, too ugly, call me Duncan" which I assumed meant he thought his given cambodian name was too hard for white people to say.

Duncan the Dunkin' Donut man? That's gold. In fact, that's so good that if Animal Crossing ever gets a doughnut shop, that's definitely going to be how the guy behind the counter's going to be called.
Thought I'd weave some AC into my reply, I know Aspro just can't get enough of it.
Since me and my mate decided we had sailed over the horizon for the last time last week, we're back in the market for something fresh to tackle in co-op. Does anyone have any suggestions? On PC, or preferably cross play with Xbone, as my PC is a budget build from the end of 2013.
I proposed the expansion to Monster Hunter World, or perhaps Borderlands 3. Although I'm a bit weary for the latter as my PC doesn't even meet the minimum specs set by the developer. I was hoping cross play would have been patched in by the time we got around to playing this, but no timeframe has been set for its implementation so I figure it'll just never happen.

You guys should play Stardew Valley together. Imagine the joy you will have as you and your friend have a co-op farm and grow wheat and raise chickens.
Sorry, I assumed it was you and your wife, though "my mate" seemed a little awkward.
Mate makes much more sense for a sexual relationship. It's no coincidence that mates are so important in the navy.
Incidentally, games pass is amazing. I'm reading The Decameron, and it inspired me to see what plague-related games there were around that I didn't already have, and the two which I don't own I'm most interested in are on it (Pathologic 2 and Plague Tale). And that's why when I finish Metro I'll be playing...Vampyr. (Which is also vaguely plague-related and on games pass, I suppose.)

Of course autocorrect changed "Krispy Kreme" to " Kristen Kreme" so it appeared as though I was talking about a mediocre porn star.
Who's to blame for Kristpy Kreme?

That's the male porn star.
