I will most definitely be getting the Xenoblade Chronicles remaster. Still have the Wii and the original game but I loved it and wouldn’t mind playing it again with spruced up visuals and without needing to hook up my Wii again.
But according to Iga you have to have the swordsman buffed with high agro and evade, so all enemies will focus their attacks on him, but constantly miss. Apparently that's a better choice than using a healer in your team.
So did anyone check out any of the series X footage? I didn't watch any, but read some interviews by DF. Seems like the extra cpu will be used mainly for physics and destructibles. For extra graphical flourishes basically.
This could of course be down to cross gen development, where it's easier to scale down the level of realism in the physics then it is to, say, cut out half the NPC's in a scene, but if this rings true for the whole gen it'll be a humongous letdown.
I watched some of it. A couple of the games do look very nice, though nothing is mind-blowing. However I think everything that was shown was a multi-platform title (and maybe even cross-gen). Nothing that was made ground up for the X-Series. I think once they show us something new from rare or a developer who's doing something with X series in mind, we'll see something a lot more impressive.
Hey what is the room's consensus on Final Fantasy XV? Gamestop has a sale going on and the base game is under $5.
I enjoyed it. Not really that high up on my favourite FF games but still an enjoyable game nonetheless plus they improved it with a couple of updates since it’s release. For $5 though you really can’t go wrong. At the very least it’ll sate your curiosity.
The notion that a game like that is selling for under $5 is all kinds of ridiculous.
That's a side effect of DLC and reissues that include said DLC. Right now you can get Final Fantasy XV: The Royal Edition for as little as $20 on Amazin. That includes the main game and 2 or 3 DLC expansions that probably go for $20 on their own, and effectively make buying the standalone Final Fantasy XV kind of pointless for anyone who wants the full experience.

If you can get the Royal Edition for like $20 definitely go for that. Has the base game, three character dlc chapters, and probably a couple of other goodies that I’m forgetting at the moment.
Final Fantasy was released in North America 30 years ago today. Happy 30th FF!
Nintendo Power had me sold on Final Fantasy long before I ever got a chance to play it. If you count the preview, they featured the game four issues in a row. That was more or less unheard of (then again Nintendo Power probably hadn't been out for 2 years yet and was only releasing once every other month, so that might not quite be a big accomplishment in retrospect).
Right around the time I got to the end of the game for the final battle with Chaos, the special strategy guide came out for the game and I saw all these secrets that I had missed. So instead of trying to grind a little more and get prepared for that final battle, I ended up just starting over with a more effective team.

R.I.P. Little Richard.

Ooh, I'm interested. I seem to recall it had gameplay like Kingdom Hearts which I prefer.

Indeed. There’s very few games that I wouldn’t buy for $5. I’d probably even buy Splatoon 2 for $5, maybe.

Most misleading game title ever!
