Game Under Podcast Episode 123
Tom and Phil talk about the news and some indie games, and Wailuigi.gameunder.net editorial impressions media news aspro
I've heard good thing but hard to justify when my original still works and I have almost all the games I want to play for it. Still giving it strong consideration.
Oh wow! The new Switch update allows you to remap your buttons. Very nice. Iām so use to the Xbox layout that I sometimes press the wrong buttons on the Switch. This will fix that.
Same here on PS4. The X button serves the same function as the A button but both are in different spots.
I've been going back and forth between PS4/XB1 and Switch lately I am constantly pressing the wrong numbers for "confirm" and "reverse", and while I am sure there are some brain elasticity benefits I am definately swapping those buttons.

You're all going to be doing it wrong! From a history point of view at least.

Cool. I'll definitely listen, although covid-19 isn't making it easy on me to do so. I used to listen while drivng from construction site to clients and whatnot. I hardly drive anywhere these days.
Well, I managed to listen to the part of the podcast covering Last day of June. Best part was when you were both trying to talk about a twist or deeper meaning without revealing it and couldn't figure out if you were talking about the same part or not. I'm happy you both didn't enjoy it, as as is the case with all good art, it needn't be enjoyable, but it should fascinate regardless.
Also, I can't believe you didn't link 'last day of June' to the main character immediately. It seemed very obvious to me. Then again, that might have been revealed in the trailer I watched when the game first released.

Can't remember what I said on the show, but I thought it referred to the chick[en head]'s death!
There was an interview on the largest radio station today with 'Sjokz', who is apparently one of esports' biggest commentators. They were talking about the effect Covid-19 has on the esports scene, which is very big. She mentionned how usually you have these big arena's for the finals, but that now everything has been converted to a 'from home' situation in about a week and a half while maintaining a large degree of professionalism. The issue of sponsors and how they were affected by the lack of big arena's was also touched on, as was the matter of how other sports as F1, football and cycling were also exploring esports now as the next best option during these trying times.
What was most striking to me personally was how this was a quality interview as you'd expect to get about any of the large sports, which went further than just being astonished over how large the prize pool for these things is.
So what is everyone planning to play this weekend? I'll be setting out on the Sea of Thieves a'd battle Senua's inner demons, while selling bugs and buying turnips.
Lol! Thanks! I didn't realize the chat was so hard to use! Most of the time we were talking, my chat window was over yours... I couldn't read what you said because I was typing!
Woah, woah. What sorcery is that?

I doubt it will come out in Australia
