Now you’re playing with POWER!
Touché.
Decided to delve hard into Bloodborne & see if I could finally make it past the 2nd boss for the first time in 5 years. This game is easily just as hard as the Souls series....IDK wtf people are talking about claiming it's easier.
However, I made some progress! Once you get to the 3rd boss the game starts to flow nicely. And gaining the ability to summon help just like in the souls series is a huge win. I was able to summon both someone online & an AI controlled dude to help me in one battle last night, which was fantastic. Think I took down 3 bosses & opened up a few new areas too.
I figured this being one of the first and one of the best PS4 exclusives, maybe I should actually finish it after almost 5 years. It really does have some amazing artwork also. Sadistic, but beautiful.
Good god, play the Halo Collection.
Halo 1 was about 15 hours on Heroic; Halo 2, 3 & 4 were around 8 hours each.
Take advantage of the power of the most powerful console with gamepass and play Metro Exodus instead. I think it's meant to be 15 hours or so.
Speaking of "free" games, Epic is giving away a game a day for the next 12 days (though it started 3 days ago). So far the selection has been quality: Celeste, FTL and Hyper Light Drifter.
Sounds about right.
This.
I don't like dark scary games with realistic graphics. Luigi's Mansion is already at the very edge of my comfort zone.
Hope you’re doing ok out there Aspro.
Aspro!! Stay strong brother.
Speaking of the Master Chief collection, what are the actual games that can currently be played in it? Is it just Halo Reach?
On PC, yes. I guess they think it's funny to roll out one Halo game every few months leading up to Halo 6.
On Xbox, they're all playable.
Damn, I want to finally finish the trilogy!
Something occured to me while playing Bloodborne about From Software. They've basically copied the Rockstar games model from the PS2 era where all their games basically play the same. With Rockstar, it didn't matter if it was GTA, Bully, RDR etc. The setting and characters were different, but it was a continuation of the same gameplay and control systems in every game.
From Software came out with Demon's Souls & realized they struck gold with a formula that nobody else was really using, and have now pretty much made it their trademark with every game they do being an extension of it....from Demon to Dark to Bloodborne to Sekiro. I can't think of any other major studios who have really done it this way. Maybe Capcom for a while there with the Resident Evil formula spinoffs.
Ah, the wonders of installing stuff on a new computer... Most things have gone smoothly, but Outlook is refusing to connect to my email server, despite me entering the exact same data I've been using for years on my other computers.
