I think it's a mistake for Nintendo to release the Switch Lite without an optional dock (sold separately) for TV mode; without it, the device ceases to be a "Switch." Otherwise, I'd prefer it to the current model by far.

A switch that doesn’t switch is no switch.

Next year they will release a Switch Pro that has TV Mode-only; no screen.

Kind of bummed that you can't dock it... Would have been very tempting if you could. Still, the device makes sense from Nintendo's point of view, as this cheaper version gives them an excuse to not lower their RSP of the original model. I wonder if it'll tap into a new market though. With how well Switch is selling I doubt there's much market to tap into in the first place.

Yeah, I think the Switch Lite looks ok and I think it’s a smart thing for Nintendo to release as I’m sure that there’ll be a sufficient number of people who’ll get this for a variety of reasons but I’ll just stick with the Switch that Ihave now until they release a Switch Pro.

It's a missed opportunity that it's not passively cooled.  I used to take long baths every so often and I'd game on whatever was the latest Nintendo handheld.  But sinced the switch is actively cooled, I don't dare take it with me out of fear of corrosion within the system.

I would never consider taking anything like a handheld gaming system with me while I bathed. I would be too worried about dropping it in the water or getting it wet somehow.

It’s a moot point though as I only shower. Bathing to me is just sitting in a tepid pool of my own filth and who would want to do that. Nyaa

My bath water is the secret ingredient for my martinis. Taint infused water makes for a solid ice cube.

You're supposed to. You're also not supposed to freeze your liquor. It should be room temperature so that the water from the taint cube melts at a reasonable speed enhancing the flavor of the drink and releasing it's pleasing aroma.

There better not be any pubes in the taint cubes.

So I downloaded Dr. Mario World on my phone last night. It's actually a pretty nice spin I'm Doctor Mario for mobile. The actually flipped the gameplay, so the pills launched at the bottom of the screen towards the top, which makes a lot of sense given how most people hold their phones. There's also a couple extra gimmick items that remove extra pieces from the board. I'm not as much a fan of those, but they're pretty harmless.

the thing that is blowing me away is how good people are on the competitive level already. I've played about a dozen games on the versus mode, and I think I have it best to 50% win rate right now. And I'm on the lowest tier. now I've never been a great Doctor Mario player, but I thought I could hold my own against people at this level. Apparently I am wrong.

I tried it out as well and it isn’t that bad at all. I’ve only tried a handful of the initial stages but I could see myself playing this from time to time. Haven’t tried the versus mode yet.

I downloaded it. It's okay, but I'm going to stick with the 3DS Dr Mario instead.

I also tried out Teppen for a few minutes. I made it through the demo with Ryu, but honestly I don't quite understand the game. Doesn't seem real intuitive, unless I do actually understand it and it's just insanely dull.
