So what are your wishes for the new Switch SKU's? Apparently a 'budget' and a 'slightly more luxerious' version are on its way.
If the budget one is indeed going to act as the heir to their handheld market, I'd like it to be a clamshell model. Over the years I've enjoyed the feel of the GBA SP, the DS', and larger 3DS/2DS. I really don't care for how the joycons are positioned with the screen so this could go a long way in making it more comfortable to hold.
And as for the higher end model, I'd like it to come with a social media community for each game and an ability to act as a remote control for my TV.
I think I'll be getting this, or at least the base version. Sure, the quality will not be up to snuf with true VR kits, but it'll be a nice entry point and at least you know that the whole package will be of a certain quality with it being a first party Nintendo product. My son also greatly enjoyed piecing together the first Labo set. I'm also intrigued with the potential of creating simple 3D games to be played in VR.

anything labo needs to be dirt cheap before I'd try it
We've all been there at one point...
Exactly.

Switch Pro: All games running at least a rock solid 30fps at a locked resolution of 720p portable and 1080p docked.
Switch Budget: i agree with Robio.
Depending on what the upgrades are I wouldn’t mind getting a more powerful Switch. I don’t think that I’d be interested in a cheaper Switch though.
What are the caps for? They helped out with BotW as well, did they not?
Anyone interested in the Labo VR kit?

It's quite confusing. I have seen listings for multiple sets, I don't know what comes with what pack. Being strapless sounds like a pain in the butt.
If Nintendo releases a real VR headset (w/ Mario Kart VR, Waverace VR, Pilotwings VR, F-Zero VR, etc ) I would be definitely interested in that
That’s how I feel as well. I think it’s cool but just not really for me.
Zelda? ZELDA!
Sounds good to me
I made $830 usd on Panzer Dragoon Saga off eBay. Literally 3 times the price I paid for it.
Thank you, SEGA.
^Nice!
Uhhhhh what?! I paid $50 for it, I still have it in perfect condition. I want $800!
Well that's what you would get, give or take.
A brand new copy still shrink wrapped goes for $2400. Imagine having a few of those...
